The Danish State Railways (DSB) is currently selling the Rejsepas, which allows unlimited travel by bus and train throughout Denmark for 8 days. The Rejsepas costs DKK 399 (~€54) and is valid for 8 consecutive days between June 25 and August 7. You can even take 2 children (under 12 years) with you for free!
Children travelling alone and children aged 12 to 15 pay DKK 199 (~€27). Only 75,000 of these tickets will be sold in total, so if you are interested, you should decide to buy them as soon as possible. Unfortunately, the page is only available in Danish, so you should use a browser with a translation function if possible.
Conditions
With the Rejsepas you can use all means of transport of the following companies:
- Arriva
- BAT (Bornholm)
- DOT
- DSB
- FynBus
- Letbanen
- Metro
- Midttrafik
- Movia
- NT
- Sydtrafik
So practically all buses, local trains, metro and light rail are included, as well as long-distance transport within Denmark. If you want to travel with the Danish State Railways (DSB), you always have to reserve a seat (except for S-Bahn trains). However, this is free.
After you have specified your travel period and the desired number of people, you can then pay with Visa or Mastercard, among other payment options. You can either print out the ticket for your journey through Denmark or (if you don’t have a printer) show it on a mobile device.
A good idea is to combine it with Germany’s €9-ticket and continue your journey south-bound once your 8 days are over.
