Seychelles must be one of THE dream destinations for many travelers. Whether it’s scuba diving or just sunbathing at one of the beautiful beaches – you should be able to find something that makes your vacation unforgettable in this archipelago country in the Indian Ocean.
Costs for a trip there aren’t exactly low, but this offer might help. British Airways is selling discounted tickets for flights from Nice or Paris to Mahé, the main island of the republic. Prices start at only €471 and already include checked luggage.
Your trip will include a layover in London. The airline will operate a Boeing 787 on the long-haul flights from Europe to the Seychelles.
Search & Book
According to the fare rules we found, you should be able to buy tickets until March 12, 2020, but with prices that low, the cheap seats could be sold out much earlier. The offer is valid for trips commencing before March 28th, as well as from April 18th to July 11th and September 1st until October 16th.
The minimum stay requirement is that your stay includes a Sunday, and your trip may not exceed 12 months.
Use Google Flights (instructions) to find the availability. Once you’ve found your preferred dates, simply book directly on britishairways.com.
Mileage
The feeder flights are in booking class S, whereas the long-haul segments are in booking class O. Both booking classes will generate only a few miles in your frequent flyer program of choice but better than nothing we suppose. Here’s the mileage accrual for a flight from Paris to Seychelles via London:

Information & Tips for Seychelles
The Seychelles is an island nation in the Indian Ocean known for its pristine beaches, granite rock formations, and clear waters. Key sights include the UNESCO-listed Vallée de Mai on Praslin Island, Anse Lazio beach, and the capital city, Victoria, on Mahé. The local currency is the Seychellois rupee (SCR), and while some tourist spots accept euros or dollars, local payments are generally in rupees. Prices are relatively high compared to other destinations, especially for food, lodging, and imported goods. The climate is tropical and humid year-round, with average temperatures around 27°C and two main seasons: wetter from November to April and drier from May to October.
Getting around the Seychelles can be limited by its small size and island geography. On the main island, Mahé, public buses are cheap but infrequent and not always convenient for tourists. Taxis are available but expensive, and renting a car is often the easiest option. Inter-island travel typically requires short domestic flights or ferries, both of which can be pricey and sometimes disrupted by weather. Infrastructure is basic but generally reliable on the main islands.
