You will be staying in a 40m² Deluxe King Room. It offers a working space, and a chill-out area with a chaise lounge. The bathroom offers both a walk-in shower and a bath tub. The room pictured below is a Deluxe King Twin Towers Room, which is €23 per night more expensive than the regular Deluxe King. It is identical, only the view is different.
LuxuryEscapes Cancellation Policy
LuxuryEscapes offers a rather complicated cancellation policy. It basically comes in three steps:
- Up to 7 days after booking: You get a full refund in your original payment form. This is the last chance to get your money back.
- Up to 22 days before your stay: You can get a full refund in form of a LuxuryEscapes credit. You won’t get your money back, but can use it to book a different hotel on LuxuryEscapes.
- From 21 days before you stay: You won’t get a refund in any form if you cancel or no-show.
The Hotel
The EQ Kuala Lumpur is a five-star rated, modern high-rise hotel in the city centre, close to KLCC and Pavilion. Rooms are contemporary and well-equipped, and the hotel has a strong set of facilities, including a large gym, spa, and an infinity pool with city views. You can enjoy your free drinks at the Sky51 rooftop bar and redeem your food and beverage credits in the hotels stylsih restaurants, on of them overlooking the city.
Previous guests left fantastic reviews of the hotel (e.g. 4.9/5 on tripadvisor or 4.7/5 on Google), with many aspects of the hotel garnering positive feedback. Staff, location, room size and overall amenities are constantly praised in both newer and older reviews of the hotel. Criticisms are usually limited to minor things, like the lack of variety of the pool bar menu. If people complain about such things, you are usually in for a good experience.
Price Check
Comparing LuxuryEscapes’ prices to the hotel’s website shows that you strike a real bargain with this deal. As mentioned earlier, LuxuryEscapes charges €144 per night (or €288 in total) for a semi-flexible rate including breakfast and nightly drinks. On the same dates, the hotel charges MYR 1,058 (~€220) per night (or MYR 2,116 (~€441) in total) for a comparable package (prepaid, including breakfast) in the same room. On top of that, you get the nightly drinks and MYR 150 (~€31) credit when booking via LuxuryEscapes.
The hotel charges more than MYR 840 (~€175) per night without breakfast for most night between April and November 2026, making LuxuryEscapes’ deal the far superior offer. During Chinese New Year in February, the hotel charges up to MYR 1,500 (~€312) per night, while LuxuryEscapes offer remains steady at €288 for two nights, with the aforementioned inclusions.
