Bangkok: €476 Etihad Flights from Copenhagen in August, September (Incl. Checked Bag)

Etihad Flugzeug

Gulf carrier Etihad Airways has discounted roundtrip prices from Copenhagen to Bangkok for flights in September. The airline sells tickets for as little as €476 (~DKK 3,552) through online travel agencies or DKK 3,816 (~€511) on their website (with a possible 10% for American Express owners). A layover in Abu Dhabi is necessary in both directions. Full food and beverage service is included in the price, just like a checked bag of 25kg.

Our availability calendar highlights all possible flight dates for less than €600 for trips up to 28 days. It will forward you to Eithad with your selected flight dates. You can also check what OTAs have to offer, as they sell these tickets up to €30 cheaper.

Flights between Copenhagen and Abu Dhabi are Boeing 787 services with a 3-3-3 seating pattern in economy class. A Boeing 777 with 3-4-3 seating or another Boeing 787 operates flights to Bangkok. You can expect personal in-flight-entertainment and top-notch food and beverage service the entire way.

Search & Book

According to the fare rules, tickets are on sale until July 31, 2024 for trips starting before December 10, 2023. Sadly, availability ceases much earlier. A minimum stay of 2 days in Bangkok applies to get the lowest fare. You may not stay longer than four months.

Google Flights helps you find additional flight dates. While the cheapest tickets are available on Skyscanner, we recommend booking directly with Etihad, as the slightly higher cost is worth avoiding potential trouble.

Why is booking with an airline better than with an online travel agency?

More often than not, online travel agencies offer lower fares than airlines do. We still recommend booking with the airlines directly. There are two main reasons for that:

Better Customer Service
In case any problems like delays, cancellations or missed connections arise, you can communicate directly with the airline. The airline has to take care of you because you have a contract with them.

If a travel agency issues your ticket, you may have to reach out to them first. You also depend on your OTA to forward information like flight changes instead of receiving them directly from the airline. In many cases, you may get a prime exhibition of responsibility shifting rather than problem-solving.

This especially applies to premium tickets. You don’t want to spend more than €1,000 to wind up with some budget OTA’s telephone hotline in case anything goes wrong.

Baggage and Other Fees
Economy fares not including hold luggage are industry standard by now. In most cases, travel agencies charge much higher baggage fees than the airlines themselves. If bags are not included in your fare, airlines are often the cheaper alternative.

This also applies to other things like food services, insurances or priority treatment. In almost all cases, you pay less for additional amenities when booking on the airlines’ website.

When booking via this offcial airlines website, Etihad grants American Express owners an extra 10% on the airfare (but not taxes and surcharges).
