According to the fare rules, tickets have to be issued until July 31st, 2019 and the deal is valid for travel commencing between September 1st and March 31st, 2020. Availability is excellent throughout this time period although there seem to be black-out dates around Xmas.

Minimum stay requirements are 6 days whereas your last flight can depart up to 3 months after you’ve left Malta.

Check Google Flights (instructions) to see if there are dates that would work for you. Since we’ve been able to find quite a number of cheap connections, we are pretty confident that you’ll find something. Use Skyscanner to compare prices that OTAs offer, if you don’t want to book directly on the carrier’s website.

Tickets for flights with Star Alliance member should be issued in booking class K. So there’s not much you can expect in terms of miles. 25% on some frequent flyer programs is possible though.
