Wyndham Rewards is currently giving away its highest elite status: Diamond. Normally, you’d need to stay 40 nights at participating hotels to qualify — but through the link below, you can get it instantly and completely free:
- If you don’t yet have a Wyndham Rewards account, register for free
- Log in to your Wyndham Rewards account
- Visit the following landing page and, if necessary, click Sign in again
- Copy your membership number
- Enter your membership number with a hash symbol (#) in front, e.g. #123456E, in the field on the landing page
- Click Claim Diamond to complete the upgrade. You should then see Diamond status in your profile
- If you get an error message, make sure you put the # in front of your number
Before you rush to cancel your existing hotel bookings and rebook with Wyndham, it’s best to wait a few days.
The offer is technically intended for MasterCard World Elite cardholders, but so far, no verification has been taking place.

Once complete, the Diamond status appears directly in your profile.

Wyndham includes many large and small hotel brands. In addition to Wyndham itself, brands such as Ramada, Tryp, Vienna House, La Quinta, Days Inn, Super 8, Howard Johnson, and Travelodge are part of the group.
Wyndham Rewards regularly sells points with a generous bonus (currently not available). This can often make hotel stays significantly cheaper than paying cash directly.
Benefits
Diamond is Wyndham Rewards’ top tier, normally earned after 40 nights per year, and includes:
- Dedicated phone line
- 20% bonus points on stays¹
- Late check-out (subject to availability)
- Early check-in (subject to availability)
- Room upgrades up to a suite (subject to availability)
- Welcome gift at select hotels (in theory)
- Ability to gift Gold status to another member
¹ The points bonus only applies to stays costing around €90 or more. That’s because any stay earning fewer than 1,000 points based on room price is automatically rounded up to 1,000 points, meaning the status bonus won’t add extra points on cheaper stays.
Unfortunately, many of the perks exist mostly on paper. If you want an upgrade, you’ll usually have to ask proactively at check-in. With some luck, you might get a room with a better view, but often, you’ll just get excuses instead of the suite you hoped for. At least 1–2 hours of early check-in or late check-out are commonly granted. Besides the Diamond benefits, earning and redeeming points with Wyndham Rewards is still quite attractive due to frequent bonus point promotions.

Link is not working anymore? Only goes into Wyndham homepage.
No longer works
Link goes to incorrect landing page
Most unfortunate
I signed up, but the promotional link is now blocked?
Not seeing a box to input my member number. Am I missing something somewhere?
I just tried, but the special landing page did not show, instead I was taken to https://www.wyndhamhotels.com/en-ap/wyndham-rewards with no mention of diamond status at all.
https://www.wyndhamhotels.com/en-ap/wyndham-rewards/claim-diamond/LBWDiamond is not working, it just redirects to the home page
Was not able to do it. The page is not opening on the landing page showed here.
Looks like I was too late. given link for the promotion page now redirects to the main home page. Guess the glitch is fixed 🙁
I registered, but could not get the page to claim diamond status, it seems the weblink is not working, might i rquest your assistance to double check it ?
I think it was a bug and they caught up to it, no longer shows the diamond upgrade offer through the link!
Thanks for the tip! No idea if I will use it but it’s great for status matches!
Thank you. never stayed with them, but presuming the Diamond lasts all of 2026 I will give them a try next year.
Thanks Maricarmen 🥰
I don’t really understand the complain about the lack of guaranteed room upgrade. Isn’t it more or less the same for all hotel programs, a game or roulette? I’ve received a free upgrade to the best room type at a Wyndham hotel I’m staying a few times per year quite a few times, which is probably same or better than Accor or Marriott upgrades I’ve received.
And in any case, the massive benefit of Wyndham as a hotel program is not its room upgrades, but the fact that they give away tons of points every now and then with huge promotions (sometimes you get a free night with as little as two nights, a 2:1 you won’t find anywhere else), and these points can be redeem to rooms at low fixed rates (no dynamic pricing!). It’s probably the best hotel program for free night redemptions, of course if their hotel types and locations work for you.
I’ve been staying with Wyndham about 50 times in 3 years. Out of these, I’ve gotten a suite two times: Once they proactively assigned it, the other time I had to insist on it at check-in until they relented. I asked a few more times, but they refused due to some made-up reason – even though it was still available at check-in. In the end I just stopped asking for a suite and was happy enough to get any kind of upgraded room.
In comparison, IHG usually upgraded me by one or two categories without having to beg for it. That’s not a suite, but I reliably got something better than booked.
We just want to set the expectations accordingly. With all the bonus promotions, Wyndham Rewards can be attractive for earning / redeeming points. But from my experience, the Diamond benefits are very soft and you can’t rely on the stated terms
It works perfectly!
Thanks a lot!
Great.
not a great top tier status !!
