Star Alliance members Austrian, Swiss and United Airlines team up to bring you cheap premium economy tickets from Budapest, Hungary to Guam, pricing out at HUF 386,500 (~€993). While you will enjoy benefits like two checked bags up to 23 kg on the entire journey, only the longest segment of the itinerary between Europe and Japan sees you sitting in a chair with extra recline and legroom.
All other flights are economy trips. You will have to change planes twice to get to Guam – once in Europe and once in Tokyo. Most inbound flights require a lengthy layover (up to 16 hours) at these airports to get the lowest price.
Our availability calendar highlights all possible flight dates at the lowest price for trips up to 28 days. It will forward you to Lufthansa with your selected flight dates, where the cheapest tickets are available.

You will first fly to either Munich, Vienna or Zurich in a regular European economy class. Your flight to Tokyo takes place in a Airbus A350-900 (Lufthansa), Boeing 777-200ER (Austrian) or 777-300ER (Swiss), the premium economy segment of your itinerary. From Tokyo, a United Boeing 737-800 takes you in 3.5 hours to Guam – again in economy class.

Information & Tips for USA
The United States offers a wide range of tourist sights, from national parks like Yellowstone and the Grand Canyon to cities such as New York, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C. The currency is the U.S. dollar (USD), and card payments are widely accepted. Prices vary by region but can be high in major cities, especially for accommodation and dining. Weather differs greatly across the country—winters can be harsh in the north, while the south often stays mild; summers are generally hot and humid in many areas.
The U.S. transport infrastructure is highly car-dependent, especially outside major cities. Urban centres like New York, Chicago, and San Francisco have functional public transit, but many other cities have limited options. Between cities, domestic flights are common for long distances, while intercity buses and Amtrak trains cover some routes, though often with slower speeds and less frequency compared to other countries. Without a car, getting around can be inconvenient in many parts of the country.

It seems the deal has expired?
Hi Ian! It seems you are right.
Many thanks, Felix!
A quite attractive rate.
However, traveling for so many hours in Premium Economy / Economy could be somehow exhausting 🙁
You’re welcome. 🙂
If Premium Economy isn’t something for you, Business Class flight are available for less than 2,000 Euro roundtrip:

If Guam is not a destination which really appeals to you be reminded that it provides a good opportunity to board the United Pacific Island Hopper across half of the Pacific to Hawaii. Aviation freaks will be delihted by two flight numbers UA154/155 and UA133/132 which take you from Guam to Honolulu and back with either three or five stops in MAJ-KWA-KSA-PNI-TKK. There are of course also non-stop flights between GUM and HNL. If you are lucky you can use your miles at Staralliance.
