Kigali, Rwanda: €416 RwandAir Nonstop Flights from Paris (Incl. 2 Hold Bags)

Strasse Ruanda

Up-and-coming Central African airline Rwandair is currently promoting its non-stop service between Paris and Rwanda’s capital Kigali by discounting economy class round-trips. You and two checked bags of 23 kg each can currently fly their Airbus A330 aircraft to the heart of Africa and back for as little as €416.

Our availability calendar highlights all possible flight dates at the lowest price for trips up to 28 days. It will forward you to Skyscanner or our flight search with your selected flight dates. You can also search flights manually on Rwandair’s website, where tickets are sold for €481.

RwandAir operates Airbus A330-200 aircraft between Kigali and Paris. The economy cabin features a 2-4-2 seating pattern with a generous 81 cm seat pitch. While the reviews of the inflight service tend to be favorable, the airlines’ ground staff has built up a bad reputation.

Search & Book

According to the fare rules, this fare is valid without a sales or travel period. There is no minimum stay, either. You can find flights from February through October, with the exception in July.

Google Flights helps you find additional flight dates. While online travel agencies sell the cheapest tickets, the safest way is usually to book your flights directly through Rwandair’s website. Given the airline’s abysmal reputation for customer care, it may be worth it saving money in this case and book the cheaper tickets.

Why is booking with an airline better than with an online travel agency?

More often than not, online travel agencies offer lower fares than airlines do. We still recommend booking with the airlines directly. There are two main reasons for that:

Better Customer Service
In case any problems like delays, cancellations or missed connections arise, you can communicate directly with the airline. The airline has to take care of you because you have a contract with them.

If a travel agency issues your ticket, you may have to reach out to them first. You also depend on your OTA to forward information like flight changes instead of receiving them directly from the airline. In many cases, you may get a prime exhibition of responsibility shifting rather than problem-solving.

This especially applies to premium tickets. You don’t want to spend more than €1,000 to wind up with some budget OTA’s telephone hotline in case anything goes wrong.

Baggage and Other Fees
Economy fares not including hold luggage are industry standard by now. In most cases, travel agencies charge much higher baggage fees than the airlines themselves. If bags are not included in your fare, airlines are often the cheaper alternative.

This also applies to other things like food services, insurances or priority treatment. In almost all cases, you pay less for additional amenities when booking on the airlines’ website.

Mileage

You can only earn miles with RwandAir’s own frequent flyer program Dream Miles. A flight from Paris to Kigali should earn you roughly 8,000 miles.
