You can use our availability calendar to find possible flights. It will forward you to KLM with your selected flight dates. We have found availability between November 2024 and March 2025 with blackout dates around Christmas.

First, you will fly on the KLM Boeing 737 in a 3-3 economy configuration, and on the flight from Amsterdam to Tanzania, you will travel in the premium economy cabin of the KLM Boeing 787-10, in a 2-3-2 layout, in contrast to the 3-3-3 in economy class. If you are curious to see what the KLM premium economy product is like, you can check out this review from our colleague Ditmar.
KLM has recently added a small premium economy cabin to most of its Boeing long-haul planes. The seats are among the best on the market, the service is good, and you also get SkyPriority services at the airport.
Keep in mind that the flight follows the route Amsterdam – Kilimanjaro – Dar es Salaam – Amsterdam, so whether your destination is Kilimanjaro or Dar es Salaam, on either the outbound or inbound journey, you will have a technical stop on your flight.
Most European citizens need a visa to enter Tanzania. As the process can take up to ten work days after applying, you should visit the Tanzanian visa portal in time.
Search & Book
We have not found the expiration date for this fare, but we know that it requires a minimum stay of six days or a maximum stay of one year. We have found availability for November and March 2025 with blackout dates in January, and it is possible to find more dates with an overnight stay in Amsterdam.
Google Flights helps you find additional flight dates, however prices are up to €200 more expensive than on KLM’s website. Since the cheapest tickets are available on KLM’s website, it’s a no-brainer to purchase them there.
