New Zealand & Australia: €826 / £708 China Eastern Flights From London (with Luggage)

SkyTeam member China Eastern Airlines is offering incredible cheap flights from London to Auckland, Melbourne, and Sydney. Tickets for a roundtrip are starting as low as €826 (~£715). A very good price to get to the other end of the world! You’ll have long layovers in Shanghai, but they’re during the day, they give you some time to stretch your legs on this long trip, and you can even explore Shanghai without needing a visa.

You can fly to the following cities:

• Auckland: €826 (~£715)
• Melbourne: €836 (~£724)
• Sydney: €846 (~£732)

From London Gatwick, you’ll travel to Shanghai in an Airbus A330. There, you’ll have a long layover before boarding your flight to Oceania. Luckily, the long layover is during the daytime, so you can use this opportunity to explore Shanghai without needing a visa or a hotel.

The regulations for checked luggage are very generous. China Eastern allows you to bring two pieces of luggage (each weighing up to 23 kg).

The fare rules mention no restrictions, but the availability to New Zealand seems to be limited to March 2024. To Australia, you can also fly in the fall of 2023.
