Mein Schiff 6

The Mein Schiff 6 of the cruise line TUI Cruises will spend the winter season 2025/2026 in Asia. For this reason, it will be relocated from Tenerife to Singapore at the end of October 2025, sailing around Africa and visiting various destinations in the Indian Ocean.

Currently, you can secure this cruise at attractive early booking prices. An interior cabin is available from €3,399 per person. If that’s not enough, you can book an outside cabin for €3,929 or a balcony cabin for €4,529 (per person for double occupancy).

Warning

The Mein Schiff cruises are all aimed at German tourists and thus everything onboard will be in German. Of course, you will find people who speak English, but overall, expect most things to be in German.

Also, this is an adults-only cruise. Passengers below the age of 18 years are not permitted!

In addition to all meals in the main and buffet restaurants, TUI Cruises also includes a wide selection of non-alcoholic and alcoholic branded beverages as well as speciality coffees in the cruise price. This also covers gratuities. Furthermore, this cruise is booked under the Pro fare, which includes 350 MB of internet data volume per person at no additional cost.

The Route

The cruise starts in Tenerife’s capital, Santa Cruz. The ship departs the harbour late in the evening, heading first to Gran Canaria. In Las Palmas’ old town, the Santa Ana Cathedral, combining Gothic, Renaissance, and Neoclassical styles, is a notable landmark. The ship then heads south, calling at Mindelo and Praia in the Cape Verde Islands. This archipelago, visited by relatively few cruise ships, is a highlight of the itinerary.

After seven days at sea crossing the Atlantic, you’ll arrive in Walvis Bay, Namibia, where the ship will stay overnight. The journey continues to Cape Town, one of the most popular travel destinations globally, thanks in part to Table Mountain, offering breathtaking views in good weather. The Mein Schiff 6 spends three days in Cape Town before proceeding to Port Elizabeth, South Africa’s fifth-largest city.

In the Indian Ocean, you’ll visit dream destinations like Réunion and Mauritius, renowned for their stunning sandy beaches. Towards the end of the journey, you’ll also visit Colombo, Sri Lanka, and Port Klang, Malaysia. From Port Klang, you can take a day trip to Kuala Lumpur. After 41 nights, the cruise concludes in Singapore.
