You can currently book a transatlantic crossing from beautiful Rio de Janeiro to Italy for only €1,489 per person. You would be sleeping in an outside cabin, with all meals and tips included for this 20-night trip. The cruise starts on April 6 and ends on April 26.

All meals in the main restaurants are included, as well as coffee, tea, water and milk in the buffet area. You’ll also have access to the captain’s reception with a gala dinner.

The Route

The Ship

You will be onboard the MSC Grandiosa, which was built in 2019 and can carry up to 5,714 passengers. The cabins are very comfortable and even have a TV. Throughout the luxuriously decorated decks, you’ll find a variety of services, such as a casino, gym, swimming pool, two daily Broadway-like performances, five clubs, activities for all ages, and many restaurants. You’ll have a buffet that’s open from 6:00 in the morning until 2:00 in the night, as well as a gala dinner.

Getting to Rio de Janeiro

Azul offers quite a few flights between Europe and Brazil, though not directly to Rio de Janeiro but always with a layover in their hub, Sao Paulo Viracopos. If you want to fly directly from Europe to Rio de Janeiro, you have TAP Portugal, Iberia, ITA Airways, Air France, Lufthansa, British Airways, and KLM to choose from, though they are usually not the cheapest option.
