If you don’t want to return to Spain, most of these flights are available as a roundtrip from/to Ireland for roughly €300 more than the prices mentioned above.
To book flights, you can use our Go2 tool. It will forward you to either British Airways or Skyscanner. While booking with the airline is always the safer option, not all flights are available on BA’s website. You can find availabilities between January and May 2025.

Most destinations are available with a single stop on either Philadelphia or Dallas. In this case, you’d be flying American Airlines nonstop to these cities and add a domestic first leg. There are also connections with a stop in London and a nonstop British Airways flights on the outbound.
If you are looking to get tho California, we recommend avoiding a change of planes at the East Coast, since you will spend more time in a proper business class cabin when stopping twice in London and Los Angeles, spending the 11-hour-ride to California in a proper business class cabin.
Both American Airlines and British Airways feature a state-of-the-art business. On some flights to Spain, you may catch a connection with Iberia, which also features a perfectly fine premium cabin.
Even if American Airlines doesn’t enjoy a good reputation for many, its business class is very good. Every seat on wide-body planes has direct access to the aisle and the service, as well as the food and the seat, are at a very high standard. Travel-Dealz founder Johannes tested the Boeing 777 and really enjoyed the flight.
British Airways was one of the first airlines to offer lie-flat seats – over 20 years ago. And they still continue to be up to date with the newest trends, each seat offering direct access to the aisle. Their best seats are the Club Suites that offer a lot of privacy – but the older seats are fine as well. A general downside at British Airways: there is no free seat reservation, which is unusual for a business class.
Iberia is one of the few airlines that has the same product on (almost) all long-haul planes. Merely a few A350s have a different CL6720 seat, which are basically modern suites. But even with the other seats, you always have direct access to the aisle. The seats which are directly next to the aisle (in every 2nd row), however, only offer limited privacy. In total, it’s a very good product – also thanks to the good food and in-flight entertainment.
Search & Book
The fare rules give no expiration date for this deal. It seems to be valid for departures between January and May 2025. A minimum stay of one night from Saturday to Sunday applies.
To search these flights, you have two options. The first is Google Flights‘ multi-stop search, this option will give you a quick preview of the multi-city options to take advantage of this deal. It is the best way to find the more expensive roundtrips based on these results, you can switch to multistop and end your journey in Madrid.
The second is the ITA Matrix. While the search is a bit more complicated, our tutorial will help you find suitable flight dates and use the plethora of options to your advantage. You can also search directly British Airways‘ or American Airlines‘ websites, since we recommend booking there anyway.
Even Cheaper with ITA Powertools
If you search for flights on the ITA Matrix, you will come across prices starting at €1,095. Unfortunately, booking directly through the Matrix is usually not possible. Therefore, you need to install a small browser extension beforehand. Read how it works here:
Afterward, a new button will appear on the right sidebar. You can use it to book the flights directly on AA.com:
