Oneworld member Qatar Airways is offering a deal from France to Manila and Angeles City, Philippines, starting at just €2,250. This deal includes 2x32kg checked luggage and all the business class perks. This deal has a couple of caveats: the first is that for some French destinations, it requires at least one layover in Madrid or Barcelona – and depending on the date you choose, you can have long layovers.
The long-haul flights are all operated by Qatar Airways. The trick is that Iberia issues the same ticket for €300 less than Qatar Airways itself. It comes with the added benefit that the business class fare from Iberia provides access to VIP lounges, unlike the cheaper Business Lite fares from Qatar Airways. Departures are available from January to June, as well as in October and November 2025.
You can fly from the following airports to Manila Airport for less than €2,300:
You can fly from the following airports to Clark Airport for less than €2,400:
Our availability calendar highlights all possible flight dates at the lowest price for trips up to 28 days. It will forward you to Skyscanner with your selected flight dates. There, you can check what OTAs have to offer or proceed to Iberia.
In some cases, the fare is only available when going to Iberia’s site via Skyscanner.

Depending on your combination, you will first have a feeder flight to Madrid and then continue to Doha from the Spanish capital. Alternatively, you will fly directly from Lyon, Paris, or Nice on the Airbus A350, Boeing 777 or Boeing 787, depending on your flight, in a 1-2-1 configuration in business class. From Doha, you will continue to the Clark on a Boeing 787 and Boeing 777-300ER to Manila, with some flights with QSuites.
If you want to travel in Qsuites, we recommend flying from Paris or via Madrid, as Lyon and Nice usually do not offer this business class product, nor does the Doha to Clark route.
Most European passport holders can stay in the Philippines visa-free for up to 30 days.
Qatar Airways Business Class
Not only is Qatar Airways an airline with a five-star Skytrax-rating, but it is also considered offering one of the best business class experiences worldwide.
Most flights have seats, that can be converted into flat beds. In the Boeing 787-Dreamliner, they are even in a 1-2-1 alignment. Aeroplanes that have the QSuites even offer small, private suites that are usually only available in First Class:

Search & Book
This deal will expire on January 27, 2025, but it doesn’t have a minimum or maximum stay according to the fare rules. Departures are available from January to June, as well as in October and November 2025.
You can find suitable dates using our calendar above or with the help of Google Flights. We recommend booking directly on Iberia’s website, but you can find cheaper prices with Skyscanner. In many cases, you can find these tickets only when going to Iberia’s website via Skyscanner. However, booking on OTAs has its downsides.
Why is booking with an airline better than with an online travel agency?
More often than not, online travel agencies offer lower fares than airlines do. We still recommend booking with the airlines directly. There are two main reasons for that:
Better Customer Service
In case any problems like delays, cancellations or missed connections arise, you can communicate directly with the airline. The airline has to take care of you because you have a contract with them.
If a travel agency issues your ticket, you may have to reach out to them first. You also depend on your OTA to forward information like flight changes instead of receiving them directly from the airline. In many cases, you may get a prime exhibition of responsibility shifting rather than problem-solving.
This especially applies to premium tickets. You don’t want to spend more than €1,000 to wind up with some budget OTA’s telephone hotline in case anything goes wrong.
Baggage and Other Fees
Economy fares not including hold luggage are industry standard by now. In most cases, travel agencies charge much higher baggage fees than the airlines themselves. If bags are not included in your fare, airlines are often the cheaper alternative.
This also applies to other things like food services, insurances or priority treatment. In almost all cases, you pay less for additional amenities when booking on the airlines’ website.

Information & Tips for Philippines
The Philippines is an archipelago of over 7,000 islands, known for its beaches, diving spots, and volcanic landscapes. Key destinations include Palawan for its limestone cliffs and lagoons, Cebu for diving and whale sharks, and the rice terraces of Banaue. The local currency is the Philippine Peso (PHP). Costs are relatively low, especially outside major cities, with budget-friendly options for food, transport, and lodging. The weather is tropical—hot and humid—with a rainy season typically from June to November and a dry season from December to May.
Getting around the Philippines can be challenging, especially in cities where traffic congestion is common and public transport is limited. In urban areas like Manila, jeepneys, buses, and tricycles are widely used but can be confusing for newcomers. Intercity travel often requires flights due to the country’s island geography, though ferries and long-distance buses are also options. Infrastructure quality varies, and delays are not uncommon, so planning ahead is important.
