SkyTeam member SAS is selling cheap tickets to Seoul, starting at only €436. Unlike most of their sales, this one is available from multiple non-Scandinavian countries: Spain, Hungary, Italy, and the Netherlands. Luggage is not included, but the surcharge of €90 is relatively fair. SkyTeam frequent flyers get the luggage for free.
These are the cheapest points of departure in Europe, all with very acceptable layover times:
- Madrid: €436
- Budapest: €454 (~HUF 174,104)
- Rome: €460
- Amsterdam: €462

First, you’ll always fly to Copenhagen. From there, SAS uses an Airbus A350 for its flights to Seoul. The flight takes 11 hours to Seoul and 14 hours on the way back.
Some EU citizens can enter South Korea visa-free and stay for up to 90 days until the end of 2026. Please check if you have to register via K-ETA before starting your trip.

This deal is set to expire on January 12, 2026 and is officially valid for flights between February 2 and June 14, as well as between October 1 and December 11, 2026. We, however, were only able to find the lowest prices in February and March. The minimum stay requirement is 3 days (or a Sunday).
You can find available dates on Google Flights or by using our calendar above. We recommend booking directly on SAS’s website.
Editor’s Note: Not only do I personally love South Korea, but I also find it great that this SAS deal is available from four non-Scandinavian countries, unlike most other SAS deals. If your calendar allows it, I’d recommend flying in March instead of February, as Korea is quite cold and grey in peak winter.
