Star Alliance member Singapore Airlines has issued very good prices for their top-notch economy product. Flights to Bangkok with a stop in Singapore are available at €369 when departing from Zurich. But you can also fly from Rome, Milan, Paris, and Amsterdam for less than €450 – a much lower price than what Singapore Airlines usually charges.
Singapore Airlines offers no extraordinary cancellation policies, except that your first rebooking is free of charge. You’d still need to pay the fare difference, though.
Worldwide travel restrictions are in place to slow the spread of Covid-19. We strongly recommend gathering detailed information about the travel and quarantine restrictions that apply to your desired origin and destination.
A good start is the International Air Transport Association (IATA) website. It provides current updates on a country’s immigration policies. Even better, the Covid-19 Travel Regulations Map is one of the most useful tools you can find.
These flights are generally available until September. Simply enter the dates that suit you best in our search form below, and we’ll redirect you to Singapore Airlines’ website.
You can fly from the following cities:
- Zurich: CHF 391 (~€418)
- Milan: €416
- Paris: €421
- Rome: €428
- Amsterdam: €439
- and more…

Long haul flights are usually operated using a Boeing 777 or Airbus A350. Singapore Airlines equips these planes with 3-3-3 seating in economy class. All flights have one layover in Singapore, except for the flight from Rome, which first flies to Copenhagen.
Search & Book
The fare rules don’t mention any restrictions, except for a minimum stay requirement of 3 days (or a Sunday). Availability is quite good between February and September.
Sadly, Google Flights does not display the prices correctly. You can use our calendar above, which will redirect you to singaporeair.com, where you’ll get the cheapest price.
We’ve seen a few dates on which flights from Zurich don’t include luggage, which is very strange as Singapore Airlines always allows you to check in 25 kg of luggage. We weren’t able to find a pattern or reason for these luggage-less flights and most dates are with luggage, but make sure to check whether luggage is included on your flights.

Mileage
The tickets are issued in booking class K. To give you an example, flying from Paris should get you:
- 7,544 Points on SAS EuroBonus
- 7,544 Miles on Singapore KrisFlyer
- 3,832 Award Miles + 160 Points on Miles&More

Information & Tips for Bangkok
Bangkok is known for its vibrant street life, cultural landmarks, and bustling markets. Key sights include the Grand Palace, Wat Pho, and the lively Khao San Road. The local currency is the Thai baht (THB), and while credit cards are widely accepted in hotels and large stores, cash is preferred for smaller vendors. The city is relatively affordable, with street food and public transport offering great value. Bangkok has a tropical climate, with hot and humid weather year-round, a rainy season from May to October, and cooler, more comfortable temperatures from November to February.
