The Sofitel Munich Bayerpost is a historic hotel in the German city of Munich. Currently, ASMALLWORLD is offering a 3-for-2 deal on stays until June 30, 2024. Additionally, by booking through ASMALLWORLD, you also get free breakfast, room upgrade and US$100 (~€93) to spend during your stay at the hotel. Sadly, the room rate has to be fully prepaid and is not refundable.
The exact price varies depending on the specific dates that you’ll stay at the hotel, but the 3-for-2 deal is available for stays from now until June 30.
The deal is valid for Luxury rooms and all categories above. Through this 3-for-2 offer, you’d be getting the Luxury room at a cheaper price than the worse Superior room. Furthermore, should there be any availability, you’ll receive an upgrade to an even higher room category.
The Hotel
The Sofitel Munich Bayerpost is a 5-star hotel conveniently located next to Munich central train station, close to the Lenbachhaus and Königsplatz. It offers many amenities, including a gym and a pool.
Previous guests have left very good reviews (e.g. 4.5/5 on Google), many of them praising the 80 °C sauna, the pool, the convincing service, the proximity to the train station, the excellent bar, and the relaxed atmosphere.
The hotel is located in the Ludwigsvorstadt-Isarvorstadt neighbourhood, which is a very good location for sightseeing, as most sights are less than five minutes away by subway, e.g. the Residenz München, which is only 2 stops away.
Price Check
Let’s see if the 3-for-2 claim is actually correct. As you can see in the screenshot above, 3 nights in a Luxury room with breakfast in mid-march cost €560 on ASMALLWORLD’s website for two and three nights. If we enter the same dates on the hotel’s website (accor.com), we’re confronted with a price of €924 also not refundable like with the offer, and that doesn’t even include the US$100 (~€93) hotel credit. This means that you are, in fact, saving around 30%. For €680, you wouldn’t even get the worse “superior” room – without breakfast – on Accor’s website.
