In the summer of 2023, Royal Caribbean‘s relatively new Spectrum of the Seas will be cruising in Asia. Of all the mini-cruises, one is particularly cheap. On June 29, you can sail from Singapore to Port Klang (45 km from Kuala Lumpur), Penang, and back to Singapore for merely £235 (~€273) per person.

There are also some other cheap dates until the end of August. If an inside cabin is not appealing enough for you, there’s also the possibility of booking a better cabin, such as a balcony cabin, starting at £343 (~€399). Either way, all meals are always included.

The gratuities are not included in this price. While they are optional, the general expectation for a cruise of this length is that you should tip roughly €50 per person.

The Route

This is the cruise’s itinerary:

  • Day 1: Singapore (departs at 16:30)
  • Day 2: Port Klang, Malaysia (10 hours)
  • Day 3: Penang, Malaysia (11 hours)
  • Day 4: At sea
  • Day 5: Singapore (arrives at 7:00)

The Ship

The Spectrum of the Seas was inaugurated in 2019 and has 2,137 cabins across its 16 decks. The ship offers everything you could wish for to be entertained, such as a cinema, library, spa, casino, and theatre. There’s also a basketball court and a rock-climbing wall for the more active guests.

The cabins offer a sitting area, as well as a private bath with a shower. You’ll also have an interactive TV and an in-room safe.

Getting to Singapore

Probably, you won’t fly to Singapore exclusively for this cruise deal. It’s more likely that you’ll plan a trip to Singapore and then add this cruise to it. Currently, there’s no outstanding deal to Singapore during the summer, but prices are generally at about €550-€660, depending on where you fly from.

Feel free to search for the prices from your home city using our search form. Hopefully, some good deals will show up in the next few months.
