Star Alliance member TAP Air Portugal had yet again lowered the prices for business flights to Cancún, Mexico, but the deal is set to expire tomorrow (December 4, 2024) and the availability is almost sold out. The cheapest flights depart from Portugal, but you can also fly from Spain, France, the UK, and the Netherlands for slightly higher prices.
The travel period is between February and March 2025. Furthermore, TAP allows you to stay up to 5 days in Lisbon during your trip – usually free of charge, and in some cases even reducing the overall flight price!
Here is a list of departure cities for less than €1,500:
- Porto: €1,136
- Lisbon: €1,138 (non-stop; low availability left)
Barcelona: €1,158(sold out)- Madrid: €1,187 (low availability left)
Brussels: €1,328(sold out)- Paris: €1,300 (low availability left)
- Amsterdam: €1,328 (low availability left)
- London: €1,494 (~£1,299) (low availability)
You can find the cheapest prices using our flight search form, which will redirect you to Skyscanner or TAP’s website (~ €55 more expensive). Our availability calendar displays all possible dates. Simply select your preferred point of departure and dates, and we’ll redirect you accordingly.

First, you would fly to Lisbon on TAP’s Airbus A320 family which features a 3-3 configuration with the middle seat blocked out. Some shorter Spanish flights have Embraers which don’t have a blocked seat. From Lisbon, you would fly TAP’s Airbus A330, which has a 1-2-1 configuration.
Not too long ago, TAP’s Executive Class was infamously subpar. By now, however, all planes have been equipped with new seats that can be converted into fully flat beds and offer quite a high comfort.
Search & Book
The deal expires on December 4, 2024. A 5-day minimum stay applies, or at least you need to spend a Saturday night in Mexico. Also, you can’t stay longer than a month. The travel period is between February and March 2025.
Google Flights can help you find available dates. We usually recommend booking directly on TAP’s website, but you can find cheaper prices with Skyscanner.
