Star Alliance member, TAP Portugal offers cheap flights to Sao Tome & Principe from several cities. The issue is that you would need to travel in April or May. If you book on TAP’s website, you can select Economy Basic (with luggage) for only €5 more per leg.

TAP uses the Airbus A321LR on the Sao Tome route which features the standard 3-3 configuration.
Search & Book
The deal expires on April 13, 2022 and is valid for flights in April and May. There is little availability, mostly concentrated to early morning flights to Lisbon, then onto the direct flight to Sao Tome. These flights only run on Thursdays and Saturdays.
Adding a Stopover in Lisbon or Porto
If you book directly on TAP’s website, a pop-up window will automatically open. Its user-friendly interface asks you if and how long you’d like to stay in Portugal. This is by far the easiest way to make the most out of a trip with TAP to any destination of your choice. A stopover in Porto can be added the same way. The best thing – the price of your flight remains the same!
Google Flights may be useful to search for the ideal dates and route, although you can only select seven departure airports. If you’d like to bring bags, we’d suggest booking through TAP’s website to benefit from the cheap fare difference. If you wouldn’t bring bags, you could consider booking through OTAs considering the fare difference and the little chance of modified flights.
