SkyTeam member Xiamen Airlines offers an economy class deal today from Amsterdam to Sydney and Melbourne, starting at €585.
The flights are available for departures between February and June. This deal includes one piece of checked luggage up to 23kg and a complimentary layover hotel on the inbound flight.

The outbound flight has a 8 hour layover arriving at 5 PM that you can use to visit Xiamen taking advantage of the free transit visa for Xiamen if you have one of these passports.
