Oneworld members Alaska Airlines is currently in a price battle with Delta, JetBlue and United on the Los Angeles to Cancún route. They are winning the battle, as their US$207 (~€176) price is not only the cheapest, but also includes a carry-on bag.

On Alaska Airlines’ website, prices start at US$217 (~€185). You can add a checked bag for US$64 (~€55) for the entire trip and you can also upgrade to the Main Cabin for more mileage options, seat selection and more flexibility for US$80 (~€68).

You would fly Alaska’s (or American’s) Boeing 737 family aircraft with a 3-3 configuration in economy. The seats offer power outlets to charge your devices so that you can binge-watch your favourite TV show during the flight without running out of battery.
