San Francisco: €216 / $235 Frenchbee Non-Stop One-Way Flights from Tahiti (w/ Checked Bag at €256)

San Francisco Painted Ladies

Low-cost long-haul airline Frenchbee sells non-stop one-way flights from Papeete to San Francisco starting at €216 (~US$253). However, that fare doesn’t include a checked bag or a meal. The one which does costs €256 (~US$300) on Frenchbee’s website. This flight can be interesting for those planning a trip around the World, however, the 3-4-3 configuration is worrying.

SkyTeam members Air France and Delta offer flights at €257 (~US$301) including a checked bag but with a Los Angeles layover. On the upside, some mileage and a little more seat space come with the offer. Sadly, availability is very flunky and in some instances changed during the booking process.

Our availability calendar highlights all Frenchbee flight dates at the lowest price. Unfortunately, we cannot directly link to Frenchbee’s website. You can circumvent this by using the Travel-Dealz.com Flight Search or by using their search form which shows prices.

Frenchbee operates its flights with an Airbus A350-900 which feature a worrying 3-4-3 configuration. To make matters worse, their basic fare doesn’t include meals, only their smart fare does.

The fare rules do not state how long this fare will remain valid, or any other important rule about the fare.

You can use our calendar above that will show you availabilities. Once you selected your dates, it will forward you to the Travel-Dealz Flight Search with your preselected flight dates. You can also book through Frenchbee’s website, which shows the cheapest dates in the search form. You can also search more specifically on Google Flights (instructions) for example by setting filters. You can then use our Go2 browser extension to book your flights.

Frenchbee issues these flights in booking class X, but it doesn’t have a mileage program and you can’t earn mileage through other programs either.

Information & Tips for USA

The United States offers a wide range of tourist sights, from national parks like Yellowstone and the Grand Canyon to cities such as New York, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C. The currency is the U.S. dollar (USD), and card payments are widely accepted. Prices vary by region but can be high in major cities, especially for accommodation and dining. Weather differs greatly across the country—winters can be harsh in the north, while the south often stays mild; summers are generally hot and humid in many areas.

The U.S. transport infrastructure is highly car-dependent, especially outside major cities. Urban centres like New York, Chicago, and San Francisco have functional public transit, but many other cities have limited options. Between cities, domestic flights are common for long distances, while intercity buses and Amtrak trains cover some routes, though often with slower speeds and less frequency compared to other countries. Without a car, getting around can be inconvenient in many parts of the country.
