Sofitel Munich Bayerpost: 3-for-2 until September, Starting at €191/Night with Breakfast and $100 Credit

Sofitel Munich Bayerpost ext

The Sofitel Munich Bayerpost is a historic hotel in the German city of Munich. Currently, ASMALLWORLD is offering a 3-for-2 deal on stays until September 7, 2025. Additionally, by booking through ASMALLWORLD, you also get free breakfast, a room upgrade and US$100 (~€85) to spend during your stay at the hotel. Sadly, the room rate has to be fully prepaid and is not refundable.

The exact price varies depending on the specific dates that you’ll stay at the hotel, but the 3-for-2 deal is available for stays from now until September 7, 2025. We’ve marked the cheapest dates in green:

The deal is valid for Superior rooms and all categories above. Furthermore, should there be any availability, you’ll receive an upgrade to a higher room category.

The Hotel

The Sofitel Munich Bayerpost is a 5-star hotel conveniently located next to Munich Central train station, close to the Lenbachhaus and Königsplatz. It offers many amenities, including a gym and a pool.

Previous guests have left very good reviews (e.g. 4.5/5 on Google), many of them praising the 80 °C sauna, the pool, the convincing service, the proximity to the train station, the excellent bar, and the relaxed atmosphere.

The hotel is located in the Ludwigsvorstadt-Isarvorstadt neighbourhood, which is a very good location for sightseeing, as most sights are less than five minutes away by subway, e.g. the Residenz München, which is only 2 stops away.

Price Check

Let’s see if the 3-for-2 claim is actually correct. As you can see in the screenshot above, 3 nights with breakfast in early August cost €574 on ASMALLWORLD’s website, while 2 nights cost €517. So the claim is not 100% true, as the third night is not free; however, the price of €57 for the third night is not exactly high for a hotel that is barely ever available for less than €210.

If we enter the same dates on the hotel’s website (accor.com), we’re confronted with a price of €924 for the non-refundable rate with breakfast, and that doesn’t even include the US$100 (~€85) hotel credit. This means that you are, in fact, saving around 40%.
