According to the fare rules, this deal will be available until January 30th. But since availability is already limited, you shouldn’t wait too long if you want to book tickets at the discounted price. The seasonal restrictions permit flights between April 18th and July 11th as well as September through December, with some blackout dates in between.

The minimum stay requirements might not be interesting to most readers for a trip to such a great vacation destination. But just in case you need to know: it’s one night from Saturday to Sunday. And you could spend up to 12 months on Seychelles.

Use Google Flights (instructions) to find low fares. Don’t forget that this is a partner sale. Consequently, you will have to search for prices for two travelers. This time it doesn’t make a huge difference if you use our Skyscanner or just go to ba.com for booking.

Why is booking with an airline better than with an online travel agency?

More often than not, online travel agencies offer lower fares than airlines do. We still recommend booking with the airlines directly. There are two main reasons for that:

Better Customer Service
In case any problems like delays, cancellations or missed connections arise, you can communicate directly with the airline. The airline has to take care of you because you have a contract with them.

If a travel agency issues your ticket, you may have to reach out to them first. You also depend on your OTA to forward information like flight changes instead of receiving them directly from the airline. In many cases, you may get a prime exhibition of responsibility shifting rather than problem-solving.

This especially applies to premium tickets. You don’t want to spend more than €1,000 to wind up with some budget OTA’s telephone hotline in case anything goes wrong.

Baggage and Other Fees
Economy fares not including hold luggage are industry standard by now. In most cases, travel agencies charge much higher baggage fees than the airlines themselves. If bags are not included in your fare, airlines are often the cheaper alternative.

This also applies to other things like food services, insurances or priority treatment. In almost all cases, you pay less for additional amenities when booking on the airlines’ website.

Mileage

British Airways first class tickets will be issued in booking class T. This is the highest possible booking class. As a result, your the miles you are credited with for your flight should look like this:

Information & Tips for Seychelles

The Seychelles is an island nation in the Indian Ocean known for its pristine beaches, granite rock formations, and clear waters. Key sights include the UNESCO-listed Vallée de Mai on Praslin Island, Anse Lazio beach, and the capital city, Victoria, on Mahé. The local currency is the Seychellois rupee (SCR), and while some tourist spots accept euros or dollars, local payments are generally in rupees. Prices are relatively high compared to other destinations, especially for food, lodging, and imported goods. The climate is tropical and humid year-round, with average temperatures around 27°C and two main seasons: wetter from November to April and drier from May to October.

Getting around the Seychelles can be limited by its small size and island geography. On the main island, Mahé, public buses are cheap but infrequent and not always convenient for tourists. Taxis are available but expensive, and renting a car is often the easiest option. Inter-island travel typically requires short domestic flights or ferries, both of which can be pricey and sometimes disrupted by weather. Infrastructure is basic but generally reliable on the main islands.
