SkyTeam partners Air France and KLM are currently selling tickets for their premium economy seats on flights to Mexico City for only €790 if you depart from Spain. Prices start at only €790 from Barcelona. However, these tickets only include 12 kg of hand luggage. The standard fare which includes 2x 23kg of luggage, costs €150 more.
Our calendar displays all available dates for trips of €825 or less. It can then redirect you to KLM’s or Air France’s booking site:

Both airlines use a Boeing 787 for these flights. This is good news, as all KLM 787s have received the new premium comfort class by now. Depending on who you fly with, you’ll either have a stop in Amsterdam or Paris. The flight to Mexico City then takes about 12 hours. Personally, I think that KLM’s premium economy is better than Air France’s.
Search & Book
This deal is available for trips starting before March 7, 2024, as long as you spend at least 6 days (or a Sunday) in Mexico. You also have to book at least 14 days before departure. While these tickets are non-refundable, you can rebook them for €250 + the price difference.
You can also fly after March 7 – until the end of May – if you’re willing to pay about €30 more. Our calendar above displays all available dates for less than €825. You can also find all available dates on Google Flights. These prices are directly available on KLM‘s and Air France‘s websites.

Information & Tips for Mexico
Mexico offers diverse attractions such as the ancient ruins of Chichen Itza, the beaches of Cancún and Playa del Carmen, and vibrant cities like Mexico City and Guadalajara. The currency is the Mexican peso (MXN), and credit cards are widely accepted, though cash is useful in smaller towns. Prices are generally affordable, with a wide range depending on location and type of service. The climate varies from tropical along the coasts to more temperate inland, with the dry season from November to April being the most popular time to visit.
Mexico’s transport infrastructure varies widely. In major cities like Mexico City, public transit includes a large metro system, buses, and taxis, though congestion and safety concerns can be issues. Ride-hailing apps are popular in urban areas. Between cities, long-distance buses are common, affordable, and cover most routes, while domestic flights offer faster but more expensive options. Road conditions outside major highways can be uneven, and travel times may be long.
