The Best 2024 Black Week Flight Deals

Black Week 2022 Flights

The third part of our Black Week 2024 trilogy helps you take off and lay back. After covering hotels and cruises the previous days, we focus on the best airline offers of the past seven days.

Update

We updated this article one last time last night. However, there haven’t been many new additions. In fact, many deals have already expired.

ITA Airways: 20% Discount on Flights from 8 European Countries Until March 2025 (excl. Taxes & Fees)

ITA Airways Logo

ITA Airways gives a 20% discount on flights from Belgium, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Switzerland and the United Kingdom for travel before March 31, 2025. All travel classes are involved. The discount code has to be redeemed on the same country page that you want to depart from. Book by December 2 to get the discount.

Bottom line: This is a good offer, as many of ITA’s usual restrictions (no economy light tickets, no flights to the Americas, etc.) do not apply here. The only downside is that the travel period is a bit short and redeeming ITA Airways codes is always a bit of a challenge.

SAS: Premium Economy Fares from Scandinavia to the USA for less than €600

SAS Logo

With departure from almost any airport in Sweden or Norway, you can reach five US destinations for less than €600 in premium economy class, with San Francisco being among them. Prices from Denmark are a bit higher, but still fairly attractive. Tickets are on sale until December 2, for travel between January and April 2025.

Bottom line: Once again, the sale itself is nothing we haven’t seen before, but is a regular occurrence. Despite that, prices are still fantastic and even a bit cheaper than usual.

airBaltic: Flights to, from and via the Baltic States Starting at €38

airbaltic logo

Latvian carrier airBaltic offers discounted tickets for travel in 2025, with many roundtrips between European cities and Riga, Tallinn or Vilnius for €100 or less. The cheapest tickets are available for flights between their hubs and airports in Finland and Sweden. Examples of discounted routes are listed here.

Bottom line: This is getting a common theme – airBaltic runs sales like these on a monthly basis, so Black Friday rather coincides with it than being the reason behind it.

Luxair: European City Trips at €89 r/t, Dubai at €348

Luxair Logo

On its promotional page, Luxair promises European city trips from their native Luxembourg for €89 r/t without and €109 with a checked bag. Their non-stop service to Dubai is available for as little as €388 – including a 23kg checked bag.

Bottom line: This is one of the better black week deals, as prices are transparent, availability is decent and the sale itself is not that common.

Lufthansa: 10% Off Select Non-Stop Flights in Economy Class

Lufthansa Logo

For bookings until December 4, Lufthansa promises a 10% discount on economy class tickets from Frankfurt and Munich to the USA and Canada – including taxes and surcharges. The travel period is rather decent, lasting until June 2025.

Bottom line: It’s a nice touch that the discount actually applies to the full ticket price, including taxes & fees. We have seen worse offers. Just not that many.

Easyjet: Up to 20% Discount on Flights in Winter *NEW*

Easyjet Logo

The budget airline EasyJet is advertising a 15% discount on flights during Black Week for travel between December 2, 2024, and March 31, 2025. The discounts apply to the total price. For instance, a quick check on Google Flights shows that a ticket from Berlin to Basel now costs €27 instead of €34, a reduction of roughly 20%. The offer is bookable until Monday, December 2.

Bottom line: In recent years, EasyJet deals have rarely appeared on our site—and for good reason. Their base prices are often higher than those of other budget airlines, and the surcharge for larger carry-on luggage can rightly be considered a rip-off. Good prices during this sale are only likely for those with an annual EasyJet Plus membership.

Kiwi.com: €30 Discount on Bookings Worth €449 or More

Kiwi.com Logo

Online travel agency kiwi.com grants €30 off when entering their black week promo code on bookings of at least €449. The minimum booking value includes extras like seat selection or checked bags, so you may get one of these items for free.

Bottom line: In many cases, Kiwi’s service fees are higher than the value of the discount code, so you will be better off booking with a different OTA or directly at the airline.

Virgin Balloon Flights: £35 Off Balloon Ride Vouchers in the United Kingdom

virgin balloon rides logo

An annual guest during black week, Virgin Balloons takes £35 off balloon ride vouchers, with prices starting at £134 per person. We have covered the different options here. The discount is applied to bookings until December 8.

Bottom line: Prices get higher every year, while the discount actually got worse (down from a £45 discount on a £109 ride in 2019). This is most likely the last time Sir Richard Branson’s hot air shows up on our site.

Aegean Airlines: Up to 70% Discount on Economy Class Flights, 20% Off Business Class (excl. Taxes & Fees) *EXPIRED*

Aegean Logo

Aegean’s offer promises a way too high discount on economy class fares for departures between January and October 2025. You can still find a bunch of roundtrips from/to Athens for less than €100, especially at the beginning of the year, when the highest discount applies. Bundles including checked bags and extra mileage are discounted, too. The offer ends on November 29. You can find more details in our deal.

Bottom line: While the advertised 70% are blown out of proportion, there are still a lot of attractive prices available. Especially the usually more expensive fare types become very attractive.

beOnd: 25% Discount on the Air Fare (= Lie-Flat Business Class Milan – Maldives at €1,392 r/t) *EXPIRED*

beOnd logo

beOnd is an airline based in the Maldives that connects their native islands to the Arabian Peninsula and Europe with a fleet of two all-business-class Airbus jets. Until November 30, the airline offers a discount code that grants 25% off the air fare on all tickets until March 2026.

Bottom line: A decent way to save in luxury transport to the Maldives. The travel period is incredibly long, but booking with an airline that new and small that far in advance comes with the increased chance of sudden bankruptcies – and never seeing your money again.

Pegasus Airlines: Low Fares to Istanbul and Beyond *EXPIRED*

Pegasus Airlines Logo

Pegasus Airlines has a similar offer to Ajet for flights to Istanbul. Even better, many routes to the Middle East and Central Asia are discounted as well, with roundtrips including hold luggage selling for less than €150. You can find our deal to Turkey here and to other Asian destinations here. Both offers end on November 29.

Bottom line: While discounts to Istanbul are not as common as cheap connection flights, both offers are nothing out of the ordinary. Pegasus Airlines’ landing page even lampshades this. That being said, there are still some excellent fares within the offer.

Ajet: €54 Non-Stop Roundtrips from 8 European Countries to Turkish Cities *EXPIRED*

AJet logo

Turkish Airlines’ low-cost subsidiary Ajet sells roundtrips between European and Turkish airports at a bargain price, going as low as €87 for two flights including checked bags (or €54 without hold luggage). The sale is set to end on November 29.

Bottom line: Prices are good, and many city pairs are available. Even if most tickets are sold out before the deal expires, you can still strike a bargain by paying €30 than the lowest possible price. The worst part of this deal is its (lack of) availability and Ajet’s subpar service.

LOT: 20% Discount on Economy Class Tickets *EXPIRED*

LOT Logo

When using the code BLACKWEEK20 while searching for flights, LOT promises to take 20% off the airfare. Sadly, the offer is limited to economy class, where the airfare is usually so low, the actual discount ends up being 2% or less. It is valid until November 30 for travel January 7 and March 30, 2025.

Bottom line: *yawn*. Next!
