The Mein Schiff 6 from TUI Cruises will change its deployment area in May 2025, sailing back from Asia to the Mediterranean. If you have time and interest, you can secure the repositioning cruise from Singapore to Trieste at particularly favourable prices. The trip lasts 39 nights and is currently available in an outside cabin starting from €1,899 per person. Balcony cabins are available from €2,499 per person (based on double occupancy).
The Mein Schiff cruises are all aimed at German tourists, and thus everything onboard will be in German. Of course, you will find people who speak English, but overall, expect most things to be in German.
While we usually do not post German-speaking cruises on our site, this one is so very attractive due to its all-inclusive offering and interesting route, that we decided to post it anyway.

The mentioned prices include all meals, gratuities, and an extensive selection of over 100 branded beverages and coffee specialities, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. This concept sets TUI Cruises apart from many other cruise lines.
The Route
The cruise begins in Singapore, where the Mein Schiff 6 will remain in port overnight. This allows you to explore the city-state’s main attractions without time pressure, such as Chinatown, Little India, and the famous Raffles Hotel. For those interested in shopping, Orchard Road offers plenty of options. The first stop is Port Klang, from where excursions to Malaysia’s capital Kuala Lumpur are possible. Highlights there include the Petronas Towers, the tallest twin towers in the world.
The journey continues to Port Louis in Mauritius. The island nation’s capital is located on the west coast of the island. Key sights include the palm-lined Royal Road and the local market. Alternatively, you can choose a trip to one of the many sandy beaches. Similar activities are available on Réunion Island, or you can visit the island’s insectarium.
Next, the Mein Schiff 6 sets course for South Africa. After Port Elizabeth, it proceeds to Cape Town. There’s plenty to explore both in the city and its surrounding areas. To allow ample time for land excursions, the ship stays in port for three days before continuing to Walvis Bay in Namibia. Following this stop are nine sea days across the Atlantic, perfect for relaxing onboard as you please.
The first European port is Las Palmas. In the old town, you can visit the Santa Ana Cathedral and the Columbus House (Casa de Colón). The Canary Islands are known for their stunning beaches along the Atlantic coast, and Gran Canaria is no exception. A final stop in Gibraltar is also on the itinerary before the Mein Schiff 6 reaches its destination port of Trieste in northern Italy after 39 nights.
