Bali: €1,543 Turkish Airlines Business Class From Amsterdam

Ulun Danu Tempel, Bali, Indonesia

Once again, Turkish Airlines has come up with a great offer on flights from Europe to Southeast Asia. The cheap tickets for business class flights to Denpasar, Bali currently only cost €1,543 from Amsterdam. There’s availability until the end of November, except during the summer vacation.

Info

Worldwide travel restrictions are in place to slow the spread of Covid-19. We strongly recommend gathering detailed information about the travel and quarantine restrictions that apply to your desired origin and destination.

A good start is the International Air Transport Association (IATA) website. It provides current updates on a country’s immigration policies. Even better, the Covid-19 Travel Regulations Map is one of the most useful tools you can find.

There is almost daily availability in June, September, October and November 2021. You can search for flights with our Go2 tool, that will forward you to Turkish Airlines with preselected flight dates:

This deal comes with the usual top-notch onboard service and 2 pieces of checked luggage. Also, this deal is perfect if you want to take part in the Turkish Airlines Status Match challenge!

The flight route shouldn’t be a big surprise. As always, Turkish Airlines will first fly you to their hub in Istanbul. After a layover, your trip to Bali will continue. The airline will operate their Boeing 787 on the long-haul route. This means you’ll get to experience the all-new business class:

Warning

We expect further shakeups in the airline industry over the following months. Some services might be cancelled, aircraft changed or downgraded. The schedule we describe may very well change.

According to the fare rules, this deal expires on March 10, 2021. The minimum stay requirement is only 2 days (or a Sunday). The deal is valid for travel commencing from May until July 2, as well as from August 15 until November 30, 2021.

Flights like these would usually cost at least €300 more

Google Flights (instructions) will show you all available connections. The simplest option, however, is using our calendar above, which will then redirect you to Turkish Airlines’ booking site.

Why is booking with an airline better than with an online travel agency?

More often than not, online travel agencies offer lower fares than airlines do. We still recommend booking with the airlines directly. There are two main reasons for that:

Better Customer Service
In case any problems like delays, cancellations or missed connections arise, you can communicate directly with the airline. The airline has to take care of you because you have a contract with them.

If a travel agency issues your ticket, you may have to reach out to them first. You also depend on your OTA to forward information like flight changes instead of receiving them directly from the airline. In many cases, you may get a prime exhibition of responsibility shifting rather than problem-solving.

This especially applies to premium tickets. You don’t want to spend more than €1,000 to wind up with some budget OTA’s telephone hotline in case anything goes wrong.

Baggage and Other Fees
Economy fares not including hold luggage are industry standard by now. In most cases, travel agencies charge much higher baggage fees than the airlines themselves. If bags are not included in your fare, airlines are often the cheaper alternative.

This also applies to other things like food services, insurances or priority treatment. In almost all cases, you pay less for additional amenities when booking on the airlines’ website.

Mileage

All tickets will be issued in booking class J. Consequently, you can get an earning rate of somewhere between 100% and 200% for this flight.

Information & Tips for Bali

Bali is known for its stunning beaches, vibrant rice terraces in Ubud, and cultural landmarks like Uluwatu Temple and Tanah Lot. The local currency is the Indonesian rupiah (IDR), and while credit cards are accepted in many places, cash is still commonly used, especially in smaller towns and markets. The cost of living is generally low, with affordable food, accommodation, and activities, though luxury options are also available. Bali has a tropical climate with a wet season from November to April and a dry season from May to October, making the latter ideal for outdoor activities.

Bali’s transport infrastructure is fairly basic, and getting around can be challenging, especially during peak hours. Within cities like Denpasar or tourist areas like Kuta and Ubud, traffic congestion is common, and public transportation is limited. Most locals and visitors rely on scooters or ride-hailing apps, which are convenient but can be overwhelming for first-time visitors. Traveling between towns is possible by car or shuttle buses, but the roads are often narrow and winding, making journeys slower than expected.
