New York: 50 Bowery 4-For-3 Starting at €150 /Night Incl. Breakfast, $75 Hotel Credit & Extra Perks (Refundable)

Since the shutdown of Airbnb in New York City, hotel prices have skyrocketed. But today, we bring you an offer at the Hotel 50 Bowery by Hyatt in Lower Manhattan with extra perks that we find interesting. This offer with ASMALLWORLD can help you have an unforgettable experience in New York without breaking the bank.

The Hotel 50 Bowery is a boutique hotel located between Lower Manhattan and the Lower East Side, where New York retains its authentic character, in contrast to the theme-park atmosphere of Midtown. The hotel has convenient access to several subway lines and is within walking distance of the Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridges and with this offer from ASMALLWORLD you also get early check-in, a $75 credit to use on hotel facilities, breakfast, and a room upgrade with city view.

If you don’t have one already, you’ll need to create an ASMALLWORLD account. It’s completely free, and the site can be fully trusted – we’ve tested it ourselves for our own private bookings.

Our availability calendar highlights all possible travel dates for less than €170/night when staying a minimum of four nights (totaling €680). The offer is valid for stays until March 2024.

The Hotel

Nestled in the heart of Lower Manhattan on the historic Bowery, Hotel 50 Bowery, part of JDV by Hyatt, stands as a boutique gem. Boasting stylish rooms and suites, the hotel features a contemporary design, along with an art gallery and a rooftop bar offering breathtaking city views. Its prime location grants easy access to vibrant neighborhoods, including Chinatown, SoHo, the Lower East Side, and Brooklyn, making it an ideal base for immersing in New York City’s rich culture and diverse culinary scene. The hotel’s devotion to local culture, notably the Chinatown district, makes it a unique and alluring option for first-time city visitors.

If you fly from Newark, you can take a taxi which takes about half an hour depending on traffic, or use the AirTrain to Newark Penn and transfer to the subway to Grand St on the B line, although you’ll have to walk a bit. Another option to avoid traffic and tolls is to take the train to Penn Station in Manhattan, and then use a taxi or Uber to reach the hotel.

If you fly from JFK, by taxi it takes between half an hour and an hour, depending on traffic. For a more economical option, you can take the AirTrain from JFK to Jamaica Station and transfer to the J subway line, which will leave you at Canal St, just 500 meters from 50 Bowery.

The closest subway stations are:

  • Grand St B and D lines are a 5 minute walk from the hotel.
  • Canal St J and Z line are a 7 minute walk from the hotel
  • East Broadway F line is a 10 minute walk from the hotel

Less than ten minutes from the hotel are two of my favorite places to eat in New York where you can have dinner for less than $6: Shu Jiao Fu Zhou and North Dumpling.

To compare prices with other nearby hotels, Hotel Mulberry charges over €1,090 for the same four nights. Although that rate full flexibility, it lacks the added benefits of early check-in, free breakfast, and a $75 food and beverage credit.
