Star Alliance member Air China is offering cheap flights to many Southeast Asian destinations, such as Phuket, Ho Chi Minh City, and Manila. There are various possible departure airports in Europe and prices start at only €461, including luggage.
Sadly, many routes come with very long layovers in China. While some may see this as a great opportunity to explore China on the way, most of our readers probably prefer short layovers. That’s why we’ve compiled a list of possible routes with good flight times:

The cheapest prices seem to be limited to April and May 2024. Feel free to use our search form to see how much the flights cost for your preferred route and dates:
You will be allowed to check in one suitcase weighing up to 23 kg. Additionally, you can also bring a carry-on weighing up to 5 kg. Usually, the flights are via Beijing, with the flights from Europe to China taking around 11 hours, and the flights to Southeast Asia taking another 5 hours, depending on the exact route. Sometimes, it’s also possible to fly via Hangzhou instead of Beijing.

These deals will supposedly expire on April 30, 2024, though availability may run out sooner. You must respect a 4-day minimum stay requirement, and you cannot spend more than 6 months at your destination.
Sadly, Google Flights is not a big help to find availabilities, as it doesn’t display Air China flights in its calendar. Therefore, you’ll have to use the ITA Matrix. Simply enter your preferred route and select the calendar view:

Booking class P used to be a first class booking class. While almost all programs have adjusted the mileage values to reflect it now being an economy class booking class, Aegean Miles+Bonus still hasn’t. Nevertheless, we advise you not to count on actually being credited over 30,000 miles there.

Konnte selbst im Flyertalk keine Erfahrungsberichte finden. Aegean weist es weiterhin als First Class aus:

Du solltest jedenfalls, wie im Artikel beschrieben, nicht damit rechnen, dass es wirklich 30.000 Meilen gibt. Kann gut sein, dass es nur 3.000 oder gar nichts gibt.
