Lately, we’ve been publishing quite a lot of deals for 5-star hotels. This time, we’re drastically toning down the luxury factor, but instead have a deal for a Hampton Inn in one of the best locations of Washington DC, just 2 blocks away from the White House.
In late November and during the Christmas holidays, the flexible rate at this hotel costs well below US$150 (~€140), with prices going as low as $128 in late November. Even better, you’ll also get a free hot breakfast in the morning!
As mentioned before, you can find this price in late November and December. In the first week of January, you can stay for $159 per night. We have marked all available dates for less than US$160 (~€150) green. The flexible rate can be cancelled up to 3 days before arrival.
While the cheapest rate is only available for Hilton Honors members, signing up for the program is free and can easily be done during the booking process.
You would be staying in a King Bed Nonsmoking room, which offers free Wi-Fi, a 37-inch TV, a coffee maker, a desk, and a bathroom with a shower, among other amenities.
The Hotel
The Hampton Inn Washington, D.C./White House is located in the city centre, just a short walk away from the White House and the Washington Mall and is one of the few hotels in the area that offers an indoor pool. If you’re flying to Washington Dulles Airport, you can take the Silver Line non-stop to Farragut West station, which is less than 5 minutes away from the hotel.
Previous guests have left good reviews of the hotel (e.g. 4.4/5 on Google), many of them praising the very good location, the superb staff, the renovated rooms, the proximity to the metro, the enjoyable pool, the nice gym, the safe area, the proximity to many restaurants, and the delicious breakfast.
Price Check
Despite being a Hampton Inn, the excellent location of this hotel allows it to usually charge far higher prices. In February and March, prices are usually between $250 and $300. During the majority of late spring and early summer you’ll often see this hotel charging as much as US$555 (~€519) per night.
