Starting at €3,136: Singapore Airlines First Class to Singapore from Helsinki, Copenhagen, Dublin in 2025

The suites from Singapore Airlines are clearly among the best first class products worldwide. You can currently get the roundtrip from Helsinki via Frankfurt to Singapore for €3,136. The flights are operated with the Suites in the Airbus A380 or with a Boeing 777. You can find available starting in February 2025.

If you don’t mind spending more than €3,200 on these tickets, you can also depart from the following airports:

These flights are available for departures in February 2025 and later – beyond the preview calendars of Google Flights and our availability calendar.

You’ll first fly to Frankfurt in Lufthansa’s short-haul business class. There, you’ll have a layover of roughly 2 hours. Sadly, it is not possible to use the Lufthansa First Class Lounges, as these are only available for passengers flying with Lufthansa-Group airlines. Instead, you’ll have to either use the Lufthansa Senator Lounge in Frankfurt’s B sector or the Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge.

The long-haul flights are roughly 12 hours long and are operated with an A380 or a Boeing 777. On the way back, you can also fly via Zurich.

Search & Book

Sadly, the fare rules do not state a booking or travel period. The minimum stay is set at 7 days. The inbound flight has to take place after 12 months, at the latest.

You can quickly find suitable dates, you sadly can’t use Google Flights as departures are too far into the future. The ITA Matrix is your best friend in this case. You should book such expensive tickets directly on Lufthansa’s website.

Why is booking with an airline better than with an online travel agency?

More often than not, online travel agencies offer lower fares than airlines do. We still recommend booking with the airlines directly. There are two main reasons for that:

Better Customer Service
In case any problems like delays, cancellations or missed connections arise, you can communicate directly with the airline. The airline has to take care of you because you have a contract with them.

If a travel agency issues your ticket, you may have to reach out to them first. You also depend on your OTA to forward information like flight changes instead of receiving them directly from the airline. In many cases, you may get a prime exhibition of responsibility shifting rather than problem-solving.

This especially applies to premium tickets. You don’t want to spend more than €1,000 to wind up with some budget OTA’s telephone hotline in case anything goes wrong.

Baggage and Other Fees
Economy fares not including hold luggage are industry standard by now. In most cases, travel agencies charge much higher baggage fees than the airlines themselves. If bags are not included in your fare, airlines are often the cheaper alternative.

This also applies to other things like food services, insurances or priority treatment. In almost all cases, you pay less for additional amenities when booking on the airlines’ website.

Finding Availabilities and the A380 Suites

The first class product on Singapore Airlines’ Airbus A380 is superior to their Boeing 777 Suites. You can find the Superjumbo flying between Singapore and Frankfurt in April 2024 or later on the following flights:

  • LH9764: FRA-SIN (22:00 – 16:25)
  • LH9765: SIN-FRA (10:55 – 17:40)

To see on which dates the cheapest tickets including the A380 Suites are available, you can use the ITA Matrix. You need to follow this link and enter the routing codes LH LH9764 on the outbound and LH9765 LH on the inbound. Check the see calendar of lowest fares option to get better results before hitting the search button.

Search SQ380 Matrix

You need additional tools to book flights from the Matrix, namely the ITA Powertools. You can find a tutorial and the download link here.

Book SQ FIrst Class via Powertools
Search with the Matrix and buy these flights on Lufthansa’s website by using the Matrix Powertools.

If you don’t want to install these tools, you will at least know on which dates to search for Singapore Airlines’ A380 when looking for flights on

    Dear Ditmar,
Is the deal still available for 2024 (September-November)?
    Please be kind to clarify.
    Thanks in advance.

    • Peer says:

The deal itself still available, but the A380 suite can only be booked for December 2024. For every other month, you’d have to stick with the SQ 777 or Lufthansa First

        Thank you very much!

How do you earn AS miles on this flight? AS website says

“To qualify, flights must be within the Singapore Airlines flight number range (SQ) 001–999, and be marketed and operated by Singapore Airlines. The two-letter airline code (SQ) must precede the flight number (for example, SQ XXXX) on your ticket receipt or boarding pass. Based on the above earn chart, base miles and fare-class bonus miles earned are eligible for elite qualifying miles.”
