Secret Escapes is selling Deluxe King rooms at the Hyatt Centric Murano. The hotel is located in an old glass factory in Murano, Venice. The famous old town is a roughly 15-minute boat ride away.
The cheapest price of £114 (~€133) (+€7 city tax) is available in November and December. If you wish to stay at the hotel at an earlier date, you’d have to pay at least €176. This deal includes an upgrade to the Deluxe King room, breakfast, a welcome glass of white wine per person, a visit to the glass factory for a glass blowing demonstration & a visit to the showroom (per room), and the airport transfer from Venice’s Marco Polo airport.
Another important thing to consider is that you can cancel your booking and get a full refund up until 8 days before checking in.
The Hotel
The Hyatt Centric Murano Venice is located on a small island in the Murano neighbourhood, famous for its glass factories. To reach downtown Venice, you’ll have to take a 15-minute Vaporetto boat ride, which costs €7.50 each way – or €40 for a 3-day pass, valid for all water buses.
The hotel was previously a glass factory, which can somewhat still be noticed when looking at the interior design. Besides the classic glass lamps and big chandeliers, the hotel also offers modern services, e.g. a sauna, Turkish bath, and gym.
Even if Venice is more of a summer destination, you can also get lucky with the weather in the winter. In fact, from September through March there are statistically fewer rainy days than from April through June. Furthermore, the amount of rainfall is also lower.

Price Comparison
The standard price for the Hyatt Centric Murano varies strongly depending on the season. The refundable rate with breakfast, however, is always more expensive than what Secret Escapes is charging.
Booking a refundable room on Hyatt’s website, with breakfast, costs at least €180 in December, you’re thus saving at least 20%! And that’s not even including the airport transfer, Murano tour, and that you’d be staying in a Deluxe room!
