Last Chance for Hyatt’s Sale: Free Breakfast + Small Discount at Many Hotels (Europe, Middle East & Asia)

Park Hyatt Dubai

For the Black Week (or actually since early November), Hyatt is offering a good deal in selected hotels in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. Not only do you get complimentary breakfast, but you also receive a small discount on top (advertised as 20%).

Bookings under this sale are generally free to cancel up to 3 days before arrival. The offer is valid for a total of 135 hotels. You can view the entire selection and filter as needed on the landing page:

The deal is available for booking until December 5, 2023 for stays until April 30, 2024. Additionally, there are offers for North and South America (double bonus points) and Asia as well as the Pacific region (up to 20% off). You can find those deals here.

Sample Prices

Lindner & Me and All Hotels are now also part of the Hyatt family. Below are a few sample prices for various Hyatt hotels in Europe. These prices are per double room, including breakfast and all taxes:

Price Check

For January 18-19, 2023, the special rate at the Grand Hyatt Berlin is available for €182 per night (€191 including tax). This rate includes breakfast and a cancellation option up to 3 days before arrival. Normally, the rate with breakfast costs €242 per night (€254 including tax). This rate comes with a slightly better cancellation policy (cancellation up to 1 day instead of 3 days before arrival). However, with savings of around 25%, this seems to be a reasonable compromise:

To mention another example from a different continent, at the Park Hyatt Dubai, you would be paying (e.g. on March 13) €348 instead of €501 – even saving roughly 30%!

Hint

It might be worth checking the prices and availability of the Asmallworld Collection as well. For instance, for the Grand Hyatt Berlin, there is a Virtuoso rate with special benefits. This usually includes complimentary breakfast, a $100 dining credit, and a room upgrade.

In the case of the Hyatt Berlin, there is a minimum stay of 2 nights, and you would then pay €248 per night. Whether the extra cost justifies the benefits would need to be weighed individually.
