Oneworld stalwart British Airways offers discounted tickets from three Irish cities to Muscat, Oman. Roundtrips from Dublin start at €271, while other departure cities Cork and Shannon are just slightly more expensive. All flights include a checked bag up to 23 kg and meal service on the long haul segments. A short layover in London is mandatory.

Destination

The Sultanate of Oman has made large investments in tourist infrastructure over the past decade. Taking example from the neighbouring UAE, the country is bound on opening up to foreigners and move focus away from their mostly oil based economy.
