Kuwait Airways is currently selling cheap tickets for first class flights to the Philippines at an even cheaper price than what we had previously reported. Departing from Cairo or Istanbul, you can now get a trip to Manila for as little as €1,709. The flights are only available in October and include a layover in Kuwait City.
Note that Kuwait Airways does not allow you to bring alcohol on the plane. The airline also does not carry Israeli citizens. Also keep in mind that a trip to Cairo costs around €250, depending on the departure airport.
We recommend booking directly on the airline’s website, even if Kuwait Airways does not have any special goodwill rules, nor can the tickets be rebooked or cancelled without a fee, because the costs for rebooking/cancelling are relatively low (€45 or €70). Additional fees could apply when booking through OTAs, and at such a high price, taking a risk is unwise.

Boeing 777 aircraft are used for each flight. The pure flight time is around 12 hours in each direction.

The fare rules do not state how long the prices will remain available, nor do they state a travel period. We, however, have only found these flights to be available in October. The minimum stay requirement is also not defined, but you can stay for a maximum of 12 months.

Mileage
The booking class is F. Earning miles is probably only possible in the Oasis Club, Kuwait Airways’ own frequent flyer program. There you’d get 375% of the distance.
The layover in Kuwait can be comfortably spent in the lounge of Kuwait Airways. Everything seems to be up-to-date here and leaves little to be desired. You only have to do without showers and of course alcohol.
