You would be booking a 49 m2 Deluxe Room. In theory you should get an upgrade, but as great as that sounds, it’s quite likely that the upgrade will simply have you staying on a higher floor or something like that. Don’t expect any major upgrades.
The Hotel
The Langham in Sydney is a historic 5-star hotel located within walking distance of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia. The hotel offers a lot of amenities, such as a tennis court (not for free), a spa, free wifi and much more. It’s also one of the few hotels in the area to offer an indoor pool. Luxuryhotel.guru has it as the 4th-best 5-star hotel in Sydney, calling it the most elegant hotel in the city.
Kitchens on Kent – the hotel’s main restaurant is currently closed, so you currently cannot take advantage of the buffet lunch and dinner it used to offer. You can, however, spend your credit at the Observatory Bar, which not only serves cocktails and wine, but also has a food menu, offering e.g. fries or alto olives for around €9.
Previous guests have left good reviews of the hotel (e.g. 4.6/5 on Google, 4.5/5 on Tripadvisor and Trip.com), many praising that pets are welcome, the quiet rooms, the pretty special indoor pool area, the feeling of luxury, and the considerate valet staff. We couldn’t find any major point of criticism.
Located in the Millers Points neighbourhood, you’re in a great spot for sightseeing. BridgeClimb Sydney, for instance, is only a 10-minute walk away. The opera is also not very far – less than 25 minutes on foot.
