You would first fly Royal Jordanian’s regional aircraft to Amman. From there, you’d board one of the airline’s Boeing 787s, which have a 2-2-2 configuration in Crown Class. From Bangkok, you’d fly one of these aircraft:

  • To Osaka: Boeing 787-8s featuring a 2-2-2 configuration with angled-flat seats
  • To Tokyo: JL32 is a Boeing 787-9 featuring a 1-2-1 configuration (lie-flat)
  • To Tokyo: JL34 is a Boeing 777-300ER featuring APEX Suites with direct aisle access even for window seats, featuring a 2-3-2 configuration

Royal Jordanian Business Class

Royal Jordanian’s long haul fleet consists entirely of Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft. Their premium cabin features 24 Business Class seats, arranged in a 2-2-2 pattern. All seats are fully reclinable to a lie flat position. The pesentation of food and beverage service does the airlines’ name justice – it’s regal. According to most reviews, Royal Crown lives up to international standars. Although some reviewers had to fight through extremly unpleasant circumstances.

The fare rules do not state how long this fare will remain valid. They allow stopovers and unlimitied transfers, which are only subject to tax/fee difference.

To find available dates, you can find the calendar in the “Find available dates” box. Then you can use your ideal date as the first segment’s date in the flight search box. To select a stopover, you can add a few days in Bangkok.

To reach Cairo, you can fly Wizz Air from Milan or Rome to Sphinx Airport. Flights start at €49 from both cities.

Buses and taxis are also available, but less convenient for tourists. For intercity travel, Japan’s Shinkansen (bullet trains) are fast, comfortable, and reliable, though more expensive than other options.
