From Barcelona:
In some of the deals from Barcelona, there are cheaper flights offered with LEVEL, but LEVEL is not a member of Oneworld, so you won’t be able to earn miles from these flights.
The tickets are only available at the best price on Finnair’s website. Our travel search initially redirects you to Finnair for the search. From there, you can easily book the deal in premium economy in just a few clicks. There’s availability for January and February 2024.
There are various ways to reach your destination. For example, American Airlines operates non-stop flights from Barcelona to New York and Philadelphia. For San Francisco, we recommend flights via London (or Madrid). Within the USA, there is only one economy class available, and for a 6-hour flight, this is not enjoyable.
There are also direct flights from Barcelona to Boston and New York, operated by LEVEL. These come with various drawbacks (onboard service, miles, …). However, for those simply looking for a more comfortable seat than in Economy, it may still be worth considering.

The minimum stay appears to be one night from Saturday to Sunday. The return flight must be completed by early March 2024, otherwise, it will be approximately 100€ more expensive.

Currency
The US dollar is widely used throughout the world and accepted as a currency in most tourist hotspots worldwide. That being said, carrying cash isn’t necessary in the US, all you need is a credit card! These are very common in the USA and are accepted pretty much everywhere without any issues. If you already have a credit card in your wallet, you should make sure that it does not charge a foreign currency fee if possible. Carrying a few dollars in cash doesn’t hurt though. You might need cash e.g. for the bus ticket if you want to buy it directly from the driver. Most of the time you even have to give exact change.
