The flag carrier of the Philippines, Philippine Airlines is currently selling business class tickets from Doha to Guam starting at €1,377 (~QAR 5,875). While the fare includes two bags weighing 32 kilos, it also includes one long daytime layover in Manila and a chance of recliner flight from Manila to Guam.
Our availability calendar highlights all possible flight dates at the lowest price for trips up to 28 days. It will forward you to the Skyscanner with your selected flight dates. If you want to book on the airline’s website, you can check out philippineairlines.com, where the flights start at QAR 5,760 (~€1,350).
If you just want to fly from Doha to Manila in Philippine Airlines’ business class, you can do so for as little as €1,250.

For the long flights, you’d fly on the airline’s Airbus A330, which has two separate configurations (1-2-1 and 2-2-2), both of which operate on this route. The shorter flight is on an Airbus A321, which has a 2-2 configuration. While mist of them feature recliner seats, Philippine Airlines also has Airbus A321neo aircraft with lie-flat-seats. The latter are advertised for this route, though planes can always be swapped without notice.
Philippine Airlines has two business class products. On its Airbus A350s, and some Airbus A330s, they installed a 1-2-1 lie-flat product, offering direct aisle access. On its Boeing 777s (2-3-2) and the rest of A330s (2-2-2), the airline offers a slightly older product. The airline also has some Airbus A321neos, which have a 2-2 layout.

Most Europeans need an electronic system for travel authorization (ESTA) to enter the USA for up to 90 days. This costs US$21 (~€19) and you should apply for it a couple of days before your trip, at the latest.
There are some cases where you cannot apply for an ESTA, e.g. if you’ve been to Cuba since 2021 or to Iran, Iraq, Syria, Sudan, or North Korea since March 2011. In those cases, you’ll need to get a visa from a US embassy or consulate, which can take multiple weeks.
International connections at Manila airport don’t require additional travel documents.
Search & Book
The fare rules do not state how long this fare will remain valid. There is no minimum stay, but a maximum stay of 6 months applies. Departures are available from January through March 2025, with additional availabilities in November 2025.
You can use our calendar above that will show you availabilities. Once you select your dates, it will forward you to the Skyscanner with your preselected flight dates. With all its disadvantages, it may be worth it to book through online travel agencies (OTAs), since they offer prices of up to €130 cheaper. You can also search more specifically on Google Flights (instructions) for example by setting filters. You can then use our Go2 browser extension to book your flights.

Information & Tips for USA
The United States offers a wide range of tourist sights, from national parks like Yellowstone and the Grand Canyon to cities such as New York, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C. The currency is the U.S. dollar (USD), and card payments are widely accepted. Prices vary by region but can be high in major cities, especially for accommodation and dining. Weather differs greatly across the country—winters can be harsh in the north, while the south often stays mild; summers are generally hot and humid in many areas.
The U.S. transport infrastructure is highly car-dependent, especially outside major cities. Urban centres like New York, Chicago, and San Francisco have functional public transit, but many other cities have limited options. Between cities, domestic flights are common for long distances, while intercity buses and Amtrak trains cover some routes, though often with slower speeds and less frequency compared to other countries. Without a car, getting around can be inconvenient in many parts of the country.
