USA: €406 SAS Flights from Brussels (€486 with Luggage)

Airbus A350 SAS am Flughafen LAX

SAS is currently selling cheap tickets from Brussels to both coasts of the United States. These tickets merely cost €406 to New York (even a bit cheaper if you are willing to accept very long layovers) and €50 more to California. Flying with luggage also doesn’t increase the price too much, only costing €80 more for the entire trip.

This offer can also be combined with SAS’ Youth Fares, allowing people under the age of 26 to fly for €322, with luggage already included.

Our calendar displays all available dates to Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and New York. It can also redirect you to SAS’ booking site:

You can fly to the following cities:

No matter which destination you choose, you will always have one layover in Copenhagen. The flights to Chicago, New York, and San Francisco are operated using an Airbus A330, while the flights to Los Angeles use an Airbus A350.

People under the age of 26 can take advantage of SAS’ Youth Fares, and e.g. fly to New York for €322, with luggage included:

This fare can be booked for flights that take place before June 19, 2024. You cannot depart from Brussels on a Friday or Saturday, and you cannot fly back on a Saturday or Sunday. The fare has no expiration date and can thus be withdrawn anytime. The minimum stay requirement is 6 days or one Sunday. Stopovers are not permitted.

Google Flights shows all available dates, as does our own calendar above. We recommend that you book these tickets directly on SAS’ website.

Information & Tips for USA

The United States offers a wide range of tourist sights, from national parks like Yellowstone and the Grand Canyon to cities such as New York, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C. The currency is the U.S. dollar (USD), and card payments are widely accepted. Prices vary by region but can be high in major cities, especially for accommodation and dining. Weather differs greatly across the country—winters can be harsh in the north, while the south often stays mild; summers are generally hot and humid in many areas.

The U.S. transport infrastructure is highly car-dependent, especially outside major cities. Urban centres like New York, Chicago, and San Francisco have functional public transit, but many other cities have limited options. Between cities, domestic flights are common for long distances, while intercity buses and Amtrak trains cover some routes, though often with slower speeds and less frequency compared to other countries. Without a car, getting around can be inconvenient in many parts of the country.

We’ve compared various esim providers, such as Knowroaming and Ubigi. To see which plan is best for your travel needs and which network offers the best coverage, feel free to read our detailed guide:
