SkyTeam carriers Air France, Delta Air Lines and KLM give a wide array of discounted premium economy fares with departures from Barcelona and Madrid. You can reach Boston for as little as €581, with five more destinations available for €600 or less. Flights to Miami and San Francisco are discounted, as well. All itineraries require at least one change of planes in either Amsterdam, New York or Paris.
Even if Air France and KLM have introduced premium economy light fares, all tickets to the USA include two checked bags of 23kg each and SkyPriority services. They do not include lounge access.
You can get the following flights for less than €700 departing from Madrid:

- Washington at €631
- Montreal at €631 (light fare)

Our availability calendar highlights all possible flight dates for less than €700 for trips up to 28 days. It will forward you to KLM with your selected flight dates. Since some connections are only offered by Air France, Delta or KLM specifically, you might find it easier to search on Skyscanner and let the site forward you to the correct website.
In many cases, you can save up to €20 by accepting an additional layover on either direction.
All possible itineraries feature at least one stop in either Amsterdam, New York or Paris. For most destinations, it does not make that much of a different where you switch planes. You will always end up crossing the Atlantic in a premium economy seat and have another flight in economy class that takes around 2 hours.
This does not apply for tickets to San Francisco – you should always make sure to change planes in Amsterdam or Paris in at least one direction. Otherwise, you still end up spending 10+ hours in economy class.

These tickets are on sale without an expiration date. You have to stay at least six days or one night from Saturday to Sunday at your destination to get the lowest fare.
