Amsterdam ↔ Thessaloniki: €108 Nonstop Roundtrips in Both Directions w/ Transavia (Checked Bags Add €62)

Dutch leisure carrier Transavia has put a very decent price-tag on nonstop roundtrips between Amsterdam and Greece. While flight between the Dutch capital and Athens are available for €118, trips to Saloniki in the Northern part of Greece are even cheaper.

Sadly, this fare does not include checked bags. A 15 kg bag comes with the price tag of €62 r/t on Transavia’s website, the cheapest bundle including luggage starts at €194. This fare type will also grant you 10 XP on FlyingBlue.

Transavia operates Boeing 737-800 airplanes between Amsterdam and Saloniki. These planes have a 3-3 seating pattern in economy class.

These fares seem to be available from January through March 2024. Since we couldn’t retrieve any fare rules, we cannot give you information regarding travel time or minimum or maximum stay.

If you want to stay longer than 28 days, you can search for suiting dates on Google Flights (instructions). Since the cheapest offer with luggage comes from anyway, you might want to book there directly.


Transavia issues all tickets in booking class N. It won’t get you any miles in any program. By booking the basic fare including luggage, you can earn 10 XP on Air France and KLM’s Flying Blue.
