Star Alliance carrier Turkish Airlines and Malaysian partner Batik Air (formerly Malindo Air) currently offer a series of attractive fare for flights to Perth in Western Australia. A ticket including full board service and a checked bag up to 30kg can be purchased for as little as €849 from Vienna und not much more from Amsterdam.

All itineraries feature two stops: One in Istanbul and one in Kuala Lumpur. All flights from/to Istanbul will be operated by Turkish Airlines. An Airbus A330 hosts you from Amsterdam to Istanbul, with the usual 2-4-2 seating pattern in economy. Flights from Vienna see narrow body planes, which also rather comfortable in economy class.
The second flight takes you from Istanbul to Kuala Lumpur on a Boeing 777-300ER. Thankfully, Turkish Airlines still uses the more comfortable 3-3-3 seating alignment on these planes.
The six-hour-flights between Kuala Lumpur and Perth are operated by Batik Air. While the airline markets itself as a full service carrier, it seems like meals are not included in economy class. Batik Air schedules Boeing 737 airplanes between Malaysia and Australia.

According to the fare rules, these tickets are available without a travel or sales period. A minimum stay of six days is necessary to get the lowest fare. Both origins show good availability in November 2023. From Vienna, you can also find plenty of flight dates in 2024, while Amsterdam is reduced to two dates in March 2024.
Google Flights helps you find additional flight dates. While you may find flights on Turkish Airlines’ website, most tickets are sold by online travel agencies. Most tickets are cheaper when buying them from OTAs than the prices displayed by Google Flights.
