Black Friday, the day after American Thanksgiving, was once famous for its amazing discounts. Not only has the day itself developed into a meme by now, companies have basically turned the entire month of November into a reason to discount their offerings. Sadly, most of these promotions are nothing more than regular (or even worse than usual) sales with a Black Week moniker slapped onto it. If you are interested in those, you should check out our Dealz, that did not make it on Saturday morning.
In this article, we only present you the best deals we have stumbled upon in the past weeks – and that have been labelled as Black Week promotions. If your favourite brand is missing, it probably did not convince us or didn’t offer anything at all.

Flights
Aegean’s Black-Friday-Only Sale results in awesome prices to Cairo, Greece and many more destinations. Discounts apply to fares with and without bags, but it ends on Friday, November 28.
Editor’s Note: While this is hands-down the truest and best value Black Week offer we have come across this year, it is somewhat dragged down by the fact the cheapest tickets are limited to rather short term departures in January and February. That being said, everyone who wants to benefit from Aegean’s easy status re-qualification one last time should check this out.
ITA Airways has issued a discount code that gives 20% off the airfare – not taxes and surcharges. It is limited to departures from Italy until March 2026. The code is valid until Monday, December 1.
Editor’s Note: I have flown ITA Airways in all three travel classes, and the carrier offers an above average product in each of them. 20% off the airfare is a decent deal, leading to prices like business to Bangkok and premium economy (it’s a long daytime flight) back for €1,300. Sadly, this code has a very short travel period compared to previous offers.
TAAG Angola Airlines promises discounts up to 50% – that results in great fares for business class tickets between Lisbon and Sao Tome. The discount is only available on November 28.
Editor’s Note: Basically, you can fly in business class for a few hundred euros more than the average ticket price to São Tomé in economy class without luggage. Finding these fares with TAAG can be a bit tricky; I spent some time back in 2017 getting a ticket with TAAG to Cape Town in economy for 210 euros, and it was worth the effort. Plus, you’ll be using the new airport in Luanda.
Scandinavian Airlines has one of its regular sales and slapped a Black Flyday label on it. Luckily for them, their sales are usually excellent. They offer the cheapest premium economy fares across the pond and also have some decent offers to Asia. The sale ends on December 2, 2026.
- Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami, New York, Toronto & More: €548 SAS Premium Economy from Scandinavia
- Seoul & Bangkok: €888 SAS Premium Economy from Frankfurt & Oslo
- Six US Destinations and Toronto: €1,477 SAS Business Class from Norway & Sweden
- Seoul, South Korea: €1,531 Scandinavian Airlines Business Class from Madrid & Barcelona (Long Layovers)
Editor’s Note: If you are thinking “Hey, I’ve seen this deal before” – you certainly did, as SAS offers prices like this every three to four weeks. That being said, the tickets to America are still cheaper than almost any economy fare with checked bags. In its current iteration, the travel period is a bit longer and prices are roughly €20 lower than usual.
Hotels
Accor Hotels grant a 30% discount on flex rates that remain fully flexible. The offer ends on December 1.
Editor’s Note: This is a really good sale. The advertised 30% discount is mostly truthful, and you risk nothing by booking these rates, as these are non-prepaid flex rates.
B&B Hotels lets you keep flexibility, too. Discounted hotels are mainly available in Germany and Poland. The offer ends on December 3.
Editor’s Note: This is an excellent promotion. Everything that makes flex-rates cheaper than prepaid rates is a good thing. You can score great prices risk-free, as long as you cancel in time. If you plan on travelling to Germany on a budget, be sure to check this out.
Strawberry Hotels offers rooms at a fixed price in Norway and Sweden. The rate is prepaid and non-refundable. The offer ends on November 30.
Editor’s Note: Decent offer that opens a lot of doors if you are travelling either Norway or Sweden in the next four months. The included meals are a nice touch, especially in these rather expensive countries. What bothers me is that the promotional rate is prepaid and non-refundable, as I personally prefer flex-rates when booking hotels.
Commodities, Gadgets & Other Stuff
Priority Pass currently runs two promotions, each of them discounting different passes. The Standard Plus Pass for €216 is the most attractive option. The discount is available until December 8.
Editor’s Note: There are many ways into airport lounges – if you lack the frequent flyer tier or right credit card, Priority Pass is a valid option. Just make sure they actually operate a lounge at an airport near you. The current discount is the highest so far in 2025.
Horizn’s Black Week sale offers discounts of up to 50% – and we throw in our 2% discount code for already reduced items. There is no expiration date set for this deal.
Editor’s Note: Horizn Studios’ trolleys and hold bags are pretty, robust and really easy to handle. The current discount is the highest we’ve seen in at least six months. If you are looking for a new suitcase or maybe even a Christmas present, now is a good time to act.
AirHelp helps you get compensation for delayed flights and reimburses you for missed connections or missing luggage. Insure up to 9 itineraries for €85. The discount lasts until December 5.
Editor’s Note: Anyone who flies a lot and often has short connections should take advantage of this offer. The chances of you coming out with a profit are quite high. I’ve earned hundreds every year with my AirHelp+ subscriptions.
Interrail global passes and country passes are currently available for 3/4 of their usual price. Buy before December 17 to get the discount.
Editor’s Note: Based on the past two years, the 25% discount is the highest you can get, as sales are usually limited to 20% off. Since you can start anytime within 11 months after purchase, you should buy now if you want to do an Interrail (or Eurail) trip in 2026.
Cruises
A-ROSA grants up to €1,000 discount on 2026 European river cruises. You can only discount the Premium All-inclusive fare. The code expires on December 8.
Editor’s Note: While this is not the highest discount we’ve seen lately (savings up to €1,200 per cabin were possible), this time the coupon covers an entire year. Usually, A-ROSA limits the travel period to two or three months. So if you like to plan ahead, it’s a good time to book.
