SkyTeam member ITA Airways offers business class flights from New York to London starting at US$1,516 (~€1,413). The only downside is that you need to spend (only) 9-13 hours overnight in Rome on your way back.
Our availability calendar highlights all possible flight dates at the lowest price for trips up to 28 days. It will forward you to Momondo with your selected flight dates. Booking through ITA Airways is US$70 (~€65) more expensive, although we unfortunately can’t link to their website.
The long-haul flight would be either on ITA’s fresh Airbus A330-900neos or a bit older Airbus A330ceos. These feature state of the art lie-flat-seats in a 1-2-1 pattern.
Search & Book
The fare rules don’t specify an expiration date. There is a 6-night minimum stay, but your journey can end twelve months later. ITA permits transfers (“mini stopovers“) in Italy and the USA.
You can use our calendar above to see available dates. Then you can book your flights through Momondo or on the ITA Airways website. Alternatively, you can browse Google Flights (instructions) and use our Go2 browser extension to book your flights.
Mileage
Unfortunately, our calculator isn’t compatible with ITA flights. In even more unfortunate news, other SkyTeam memberships aren’t that friendly with ITA flights. ITA sells these flights in booking class I. You can calculate your ITA Volare earnings on their earnings website.
Destination
Hotel prices in London usually start at roughly US$60 (~€56), depending on the hotel category and Rome prices depend heavily on the season. Whichever category and hotel you opt for, make sure to get the best price! Our recommendation is to search on booking.com, or even on our own Travel-Dealz hotel search:
