Eurowings used to be a subsidiary of Lufthansa, which operated national and international flights for Germanwings on behalf of Lufthansa. In 2015 it then became the new core brand of the Wings concept.
In contrast to Germanwings, Eurowings will operate flights throughout Europe instead of only from and to Germany.
