Google Flights is one of the most user-friendly tools to search for (cheap) flights. It is not without reason that we have already written detailed instructions and other articles about the site. One of the best functions: For almost every flight, you are shown how much legroom is available or what kind of seat you can expect. E.g. it looks like this:

Maybe you’ve been annoyed that this and other important information is only displayed when you click on a connection. If there are many connections to choose from, you have to open them all individually, there is no overview.
And this is exactly where a browser extension comes in. Legroom for Google Flights for the Chrome browser does exactly what the name suggests. You can see directly how much legroom you can expect. Not unimportant with a flight time of 13 hours:

Download
Unfortunately, the extension is only available for Chrome. You can download it for free via the following link:

After the download, you don’t have to configure anything else, all functions are activated automatically.
Chrome extensions can also be used in the browsers Opera (via add-on) and Microsoft Edge, as well as other Chromium-based browsers.
Further Information
The tool not only helps you find out the legroom. Information on the type of seat (angled flat, standard lie-flat, “suite”) on business class flights is also given a prominent place:

In addition, the following are also displayed:
- Aircraft type
- Sockets / charging ports
- Presence of in-flight entertainment
A lot of information, for which it would normally be necessary to open the connection. Only the other flight data (flight number, transfer time for 2+ transfers) and information about the Wi-Fi are still hidden.
