Blue Air: €15 Nonstop Roundtrips Between Romania and Madrid/Dublin (w/o Luggage)

Kathedrale in Bacau, Rumänien

Romanian low-cost carrier Blue Air is currently selling cheap flights to and from its hubs in Romania. From Madrid, you can fly to Bacau, from Dublin to Bacau and even Bucharest. Sadly, the cheapest fares only allow you to bring a small personal item, limited to 40 x 30 x 20 cm. If you wish to bring a normal piece of hand luggage, you should book the Express fare for roughly €12 in each direction. That fare includes priority boarding, seat reservation, and 1 piece of hand luggage.

If you need to take a piece of luggage on your trip, you can book the Comfort fare for €70, which includes priority boarding, seat reservation (incl. with extra legroom), and 23 kg of check-in luggage.

Info

Worldwide travel restrictions are in place to slow the spread of Covid-19. We strongly recommend gathering detailed information about the travel and quarantine restrictions that apply to your desired origin and destination.

A good start is the International Air Transport Association (IATA) website. It provides current updates on a country’s immigration policies. Even better, the Covid-19 Travel Regulations Map is one of the most useful tools you can find.

Blue Air uses Boeing 737 aircraft for these flights. The nonstop flights take roughly 3.5 hours in each direction. These flights can also be booked as one-way flights.

Warning

We expect further shakeups in the airline industry over the following months. Some services might be cancelled, aircraft changed or downgraded. The schedule we describe may very well change.

Search & Book

We do not know until what date this deal will remain valid. There’s good availability until the end of February, but even beyond February the prices only increase by roughly €10. You should book directly on Blue Air’s booking site, which you can do, e.g., by using our calendar above. To look for available dates during the (somewhat) more expensive months, you can use Google Flights.

€14,98 is the cheapest option
